HULK: Ultimate Destruction

Postby Jeffx on Tue Aug 30, 2005 4:11 am

For the most part, superhero games have been a letdown for me. But I'm hearing good things about Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Has anyone bought it yet?

I like how you can destroy EVERYTHING. I'm definitely buying this game when I arrive in the US.

Hmmm, I heard it was a lot better than the other one, I like some plot though, but maybe I'll rent it and see, it actually got good ratings.

I played a demo. Very hectic. Hulk smashes everything so effortlessly!

As far as I know, there was only a demo for the 1st one. Man, the second one is exponentially better. So much smashing, so many moves! This is the best super hero game ever. Period.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I can't get enough of this game. My favorite moves are throwing tanks and using the ball & chain. Sweet!

I love the sheer amount of freedom you have. It's pretty evil and violent for a super hero game. What other game allows you to punt cars to make field goals, play golf with a huge ball, bowl a boulder over people and hit a home run with a pipe?
Feel like being King Kong? Grab a civilian, go on top of the highest building, jump really high and throw that person down to the ground! (or you can always punt them for more fun) I wish there was a game like this, but with all the marvel super heroes...it would be neat..

Well, you couldn't do this type of game with other heroes. They're not as destructive as Ol' Greenskin'.

I love playing as Joe Fixit. His one-liners are too much!

I just beat the game, but there's still tons of things to do. I like the addition of a "New Game Plus" like thing...Every game in the world should have it! (um...except Sports games I guess..)

Does anyone have a map that shows where all the comics are? I'm going nuts trying to find the last one!
