Game Recap

The Rockets opened up their season in New York against the Knicks. The Knicks newest players are Quentin Richardson, Nate Robinson, and Channing Frye. The Rockets started off hot from the field. McGrady hit his first 4 shots, James hitting 2 treys, and newcomer, Stromile Swift posurizing Mike Sweetney. The Rockets took full control of this game. The Knicks had a good 4th quarter run, but it wasnt enough to stop the Rockets. Rockets take the win 115 to 107. McGrady played unbelievable. Falling 3 assists short of a triple double.

Thanks man, yea I like Luther alot I think he can be a good backup SG. I intervene in the 2nd half of the game and play 7 minute quarters I might go up to 8, I know its only 1 more minute but I cant really be playing to much, cuz of school, and homework, and stuff like that.

Game Recap

This was an electrifying game. Right from the beginning it was a intense game. The Rockets led by 2 at the end of the half. Going into the 3rd the Grizzlies went on a 15-2 run but the Rockets bounced back. At the end of the 3rd the Rockets were down 6. Luther Heat came in in the 2nd quarter he went on the bench with 2 points, and 0 assists. He came into the 4th for Mike james and played terrific. He pretty much carried the Rockets. The 4th quarter alone he had 6 assists. With 5 seconds left, 100-100 the Grizzlies got the inbound pass. It went to Gasol. he was the only open person. He pulled up for a 3, he misses, Cardinal gets the bored and puts it up, it goes in! But the refs review it....the shot doesnt count! Into OT. Once again Luther took control, feeding Yao and Tmac the ball. McGrady had a great game also. The score was 120-120 in OT with 4 seconds, Grizzlies ball. The inbound pass went to Stoudamire who has 33 points. He pulls up for a 3.... it rims out. Going into 2OT. The Grizzlies went on a 8-0 run, and some Rockets fans leaving. But Heat stole the ball and fed McGrady for an Alley-Oop. McGrady stole it and dished to Anderson who drilled the wide open 3. Gasol gets hacked but no whistle, Head gets the ball, he sprints upcourt, and upfakes, Stoudamire falls for it, Head fades to the left, and DRILLS THE 3! Were all tied up. Rockets and Grizzlies exchanging baskets. With 18 seconds left, Grizzlies up 134-133 the Grizzlies had the ball. The inbound went to Stoudamire, he passed it to Miller then back to Stoudamire, Stoudamire throws it to Battier, but McGrady pics it off, he runs down on the fast break and JAMS it home with 2.8 seconds left. The score 134-135 Rockets. The Grizzlies call a Timeout. The ball goes to Miller, he pulls up for a 3 from about 35 feet, and misses! The Rockets come back in a THRILLER. Mad props to Luther!
