Thanks Initial, your dynasty is awesome too.. way better than mine.. but mine isn't graphics orientated because i got the game but you dont.. my point is, i'll stick with playing the game...

giftedvisionz wrote:Great start so far, this dynasty looks great. Maybe try starting Ostertag or Collins, so you can have another good scoring option off the bench. Keep it up!

Thanks for your comment and suggestion, but i'll stick with Okur on the starting 5, Okur, Collins and Ostertag do get their fair share of minutes, i like keeping the Center position fresh.

I was looking for a SF and i saw Ron Mercer... heh

ceekay wrote:The stats are just a tad unrealistic but it's all good, nice job on the win nonetheless.
Also a good thing you gave Harrington the starting PG spot immediately and he delivered too, I like those kind of stories.

Thanks, yeah the stats with Andrei ripping 40 point games is a bit unrealistic.. it's because he is the superstar at the moment, and he'll have to come up big because of the 2 injuries... thanks for stopping by.. oh and i totally didnt expect Harrington to play well, but he did, good on him, im glad you like those stories because i like them too.

Homeboy478 wrote:Nice Win, Good to see CJ Miles getting in on some of the Fun.

Keep up the Good Work (Y)

Thanks homeboy, Yeah i like CJ Miles, he might be the future SG of the team :)

.LA. wrote:Good job so far, AK47 with 49? Nice that he stepped up with 3 of your starters injured. We want CJ!

Yeah he is the main scorer at the moment, Okur had an off night with foul trouble and Harrington and Humphries got double figures, good to see most of the team was contributing. CJ is the future SG of the team, dont worry  lol.

Well it is 5:35am and i havent slept so i might play another game, depends how i feel.

Bobcats host Jazz to try and regain some hope

Image

The Bobcats, who are on a 3 game losing streak, host Andrei Kirilenko and the Utah Jazz, who have come off an excellent victory over the Phoenix Suns.

Starting Line-Ups

Image

Key Match-Up

Andrei Kirilenko
Image
vs.
Image
Emeka Okafor

Andrei Kirilenko coming off 2 40+ point games in a row will have to play against the young exciting power type porward forward, Emeka Okafor.

1st Quarter

The Bobcats came out firing, scoring the first 7 points of the match including 3 free throws. The Jazz managed to get some points on the board but the Bobcats were playing exceptionally well. Devin Brown came off the bench in his first game since his injury. The Bobcats were executing well on the offensive end as the Jazz had their struggles on both defence and offence. This quarter was horrible for the Utah Jazz, as the Bobcats ended the quarter ahead 32-27.

2nd Quarter

The Bobcats were still playing strong but the Bobcats began to struggle to score Field Goals on their end but the Jazz couldnt capitalise on it. Then the Jazz managed to make a comeback, reducing the lead to 1 point as they kept attacking to try and grab the lead. Then eventually, a CJ Miles fast break dunk gave the Utah Jazz a slight glimpse of the lead. Then a CJ Miles 3 pointer secured a 4 point lead for the Jazz. CJ Miles continued his dominance as he passed Kirilenko to lead the Jazz in points scored with 17 points. CJ Miles scored another basket to give the Jazz a 7 point lead with 5 seconds to go then Raymond Felton hit a half court shot to reduce the deficit to 61-57.

Key Players At The Half

Andrei Kirilenko and Brevin Knight

3rd Quarter

The Bobcats came out firing once again, taking a 1 point lead after Brezec got a 3 point play. The Bobcats were absolutely ripping the Jazz but the Jazz had their second string team on for some reason. What was Jerry Sloan thinking? Finally Jerry Sloan put Andrei Kirilenko onto the court and boy was he fired up. But the Bobcats were still playing exceptionally well, shutting everyone down on defence. The Jazz started to play smart defence and were patient on offence and they eventually cut the deficit to 1 point and then took the lead with 10 seconds to go. The Jazz ended the quarter ahead 92-91.

4th Quarter

The Jazz started the quarter out strongly, extending the lead. Brevin Knight received an arm injury after going up for a lay-up. Some silly offence caused the Bobcats to come back and level the scores. The Jazz still held onto the lead as Kirilenko was scoring on one end and blocking on the other. Kirilenko hit a 3 pointer to give the Jazz a 7 point lead as they began to waste time. Devin Brown stole the ball and layed it in to give the Jazz a 9 point lead and little hope for the Bobcats to come back. The Bobcats began to intentionally foul the Jazz but it was too late. Some how, eventually, Andrei Kirilenko got fouled out, he ended up with 41 points. The Jazz took this one 125-114.

Player of the Game

Andrei Kirilenko
Andrei Kirilenko ended the game with 41 points, 11 rebounds and 9 blocks. Also with 6 personal fouls, but that shows that he was trying his hardest.

Robert Skrnjug was extremely happy with the performance of CJ Miles. Robert Skrnjug said that he has high hopes for CJ Miles in the future. He was also pleased with Devin Brown's performance after his injury and he was of course happy with Andrei Kirilenko. The Jazz' next game is in New Jersey against the New Jersey Nets.

I hope you liked this game, Jugs.

Simulation Results

Hey guys, i decided to simulate 3 games to make the season go a bit quicker (and also make it quicker for Deron Williams to come back) So here are the results.

Utah Jazz vs. New Jersey Nets

The Utah Jazz traveled to New Jersey to play against the New Jersey Nets. The first quarter belonged to the New Jersey Nets as Vince Carter was on fire as he helped the Nets to a 34 to 22 point lead at the first break. The 2nd quarter saw Mehmet Okur and the Utah Jazz bring themselve back into the game, ending the quarter down by 6 points. The same continued in the 3rd quarter as the score was 76-75 for the Nets. The last quarter saw Andrei Kirilenko lift up his game to help the Jazz to a 95 to 94 point victory. Player of the game was Mehmet Okur with 33 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 6 fouls.

Utah Jazz vs. Toronto Raptors

The Utah Jazz travel up north to good ol' Canada to verse the Toronto Raptors. The first quarter belonged to the Toronto Raptors as Jalen Rose helped his team to end the quarter with a 30-18 point lead. The 2nd quarter saw both teams score 26 points each. The 3rd quarter belonged to the Jazz as both Kirilenko and Okur kept the opposing team to 14 points as the Jazz scored 25 points. The 4th quarter was a struggle for both teams but the Raptors came up on top, 87-85. Player of the game was Mehmet Okur with 29 points and 15 rebounds.

Utah Jazz vs. Chicago Bulls

The Utah Jazz travel to Chicago to play against the Chicago Bulls. The Utah Jazz came out firing in the 1st quarter, finishing the quarter ahead 30-23 thanks to some great offensive work from Matt Harpring. The 2nd quarter was also strong by the Utah Jazz as they ended the half up 50-40. The 3rd quarter saw the Jazz extended their lead by a further 10 points as Harrington and Okur were playing well. The 4th quarter saw the Bulls regain 9 points of the deficit but Kirilenko was hard to stop in the last quarter. The Jazz took this game 93-82. Player of the game was Andrei Kirilenko with 22 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 blocks and 2 steals.

Chicago Bulls

Tutu Training Time

Tyronn Tutu told me he was done training CJ Miles and he was now looking for something else to do. I told him to train Andrei Kirilenkofor three weeks. They will be working on Defence and Offence.

Nestor Porter Scouting Report

Nestor Porter just came back from scouting the top 5 prospects of Africa. They were all under 6'4" and they were either SG or PG. This is what he found

Liu Cotton: He's a tough little guy but he can't block the shot.
Vince Dehere: He makes a high percentage of 3 pointers but has a low Offensive IQ.
Malik Marshall: same as Liu Cotton, tough guy, can't block.
Keenan Pack: He's another tough little guy but he struggles with dunking the ball.
Lumumba Hammons: He's another good 3 point shooter and can't block a shot.

Robert Skrnjug also asked Nestor Porter to scout the Knicks and this is what he found.

Image

Jerry Sloan will have to make sure Quentin Richardson is guarded well in the next game.

Then, Robert Skrnjug sent Nestor Porter to scout Asia's top prospect, Christopher Nakamura. He'll be back in a few days.

I hope you like this small recap, this is to keep the season moving along a bit faster... 2nd page and only 4 games.. now 2nd page and 7 games.
Okay, read good please, Jugs.

Yeah they are going great, even with 2 injuries. Thanks for your comments, yeah AK47 played well in that game, the Knicks started the season 3-0 but now thay are 3-3. And I'm playing at home

The scouting reports add a little bit more to the dynasty, kinda like your mags and tv interviews, but im not good at photoshop. I didn't expect a Jazz dynasty would be popular but I hope i'll have this dynasty until Live 07. Oh Tuesday, i cant wait until you start playing.

Thanks for stopping by, yeah AK47 is playing at his best. Yeah Okur did pretty well in the sim games but in the human games, him and Andrei have been the main rebounders.

Thanks to everyone whos been viewing this dynasty, more recaps to come this week, then School starts again.. which might slow down the process, but i'll find time to do recaps.

The Jazz at home against the Knicks

Image

The Knicks, who started the season with a 3 game winning streak, but are now on a 3 game losing streak, travel to Salt Lake City to play against the Utah Jazz.

Starting Line-Ups

Image

Key Match-Up

Channing Frye vs. Mehmet Okur

Mehmet Okur is coming off 3 good away games but will the Knicks rooke be able to handle him?

1st Quarter

Both teams started equally bad then Andrei Kirilenko received a leg injury. The injury appeared minor but the Jazz will not risk him. The Knicks had a slight lead and everytime the Jazz tried to take it, one of the Knicks superstars would score. Lorinza Harrington was playing beautifully with his scoring and his stealing, and he put the Jazz infront. Both teams kept going at each other's leads as everyone was trying to have the lead. Nate Robinson came off the bench and then he injured his arm going up for a lay-up. The Jazz ended the quarter ahead 30-29.

2nd Quarter

The 2nd quarter was an even battle with both teams not allowing each other to go further than a 3 point lead. This continued for a while then Andrei Kirilenko asked if he could play some garbage minutes but Jerry Sloan didn't want to risk him but he put him in giving Matt Harpring a deserving rest. Andrei Kirilenko began to dominate at the Small Forward position as his team began to break away. The Jazz ended the quarter ahead 66-50.

Key Players at the Half

Quentin Richardson and Andrei Kirilenko

3rd Quarter

Seeing the way Andrei was playing, Jerry Sloan decided to keep Kirilenko on at the SF, put Kris Humphries at the PF and Matt Harpring on the bench. The Jazz were still playing strong as Stephon Marbury tried to bring his team back into the game. The Jazz began to turnover the ball but the still maintained a double digit lead. It was still the same 10 point lead then the Jazz went on a late quarter scoring spree to extend the lead to 21 points as Devin Brown received a leg injury. Jerry Sloan will definitely not put him back on, they dont want to risk him. The Jazz ended the quarter up 94 to 75.

4th Quarter

The Jazz continued their dominance as they began to play a bit laid back, almost too laid back as the Knicks came back to cut the deficit to ten points. Then, Lorinza Harrington came back on and scored 6 points in a row to keep the lead intact for the Jazz. Some good 3 point shooting by the Knicks reduced the deficit to 8 points but the Jazz held strong as the Knicks began to intentionally foul. The Jazz took this game, 132-120.

Player of the Game

Andrei Kirilenko
Despite receiving an early injury, he played relaxed and scored 26 points.

Andrei Kirilenko soars through the air once again.

Game Pictures

AK47 showing who's boss early
But CJ Miles stole the show
CJ continued to shine
Kris Humphries provided strength off the bench
Everybody love CJ
Jamal Crawford became AK47's bitch
Devin Brown helped the Jazz get their 19 point lead at 3 quarter time
Mehmet Okur has really lifted up his game in the past week
Andrei Kirilenko rejects Jamal Crawford

Robert Skrnjug was very pleased by the whole team's performance, they did not just rely on Okur and Kirilenko to come up with the win. Unfortunately both Andrei Kirilenko and Devin Brown will be out for sometime with injuries :x :x :x :x :x . Luckily Deron Williams comes back in 3-4 days but the Jazz will have to play with a 10 man line-up for tomorow's game against the Sacramento Kings.

Gr, some more injuries, well I hope you liked the game, Jugs.

Exactly what I thought too, but it's really good and captivating. Jugs really put together a nice high quality dynasty, I hope my dynasty will have this much meat. Right now mine is all bling, not much meat yeat. But I'd be really happy to bring it like this. Keep it man, I'm lovin it.

Marbury committed 13 turnovers, I wonder if he can take care of the ball. Marbury very struggled from the field but he was quite smart, he attacked the basketball and goes to the lines. CJ is the man, I like his pics. Hope the Jazz can continue to win games with injuries.

Tutu Training Time

Due to the injury to Andrei Kirilenko, I told Tyronn Tutu to go and train CJ Miles for another 2 weeks. They'll be focusing 100% on offence for the 2 weeks.

Simulation Result

I decided to sim this game against the Kings so i could play with Deron sooner.

Utah Jazz vs. Sacramento Kings

The Utah Jazz, who had 4 of their 5 main starters injured, traveled to Sacramento to verse the Sacramento Kings. The 1st quarter belonged to the Kings as they over powered the Jazz with a 41 point quarter to 14. The 2nd quarter was pretty much the same as this was the Jazz's highest scoring quarter with 21 points. The 3rd quarter continued to be a struggle for the Jazz as the Kings were up 104-46. The Kings continued their dominance through out the 4th quarter as the Kings took this game 132 to 62. This was an absolute shocker by the Jazz. The player of the game was Peja Stojakovic with 46 points.

Boxscores

Utah Jazz
Sacramento Kings

Robert Skrnjug refused to comment about the game but he announced that Deron Williams will be affected with a minor neck soreness for the Jazz's next game against the Phoenix Suns.

Gr, this was embarrassing, i was playing this game but i got interrupted and then the game was gone so i decided to simulate it.. well i get to play with Deron now. Till then, Jugs.
