Brooklyn Nets --- Introduction

Postby Gator on Wed Sep 14, 2005 7:33 am

INTRODUCTION:

This is my New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets Dynasty. The reason why I chose this team is because they have a lot of potential, great players, and I think I can get the net's back on top. I'm going to try to get a decent SG and move Carter on SF. I will be showing updates on my rosters, schedule, all games, all star weekend, play off coverage (if I luckily make the playoffs). I hope things turn out good. Enjoy and reply, thanks  .

Hey man, If youre moving VC to SF, does it mean RJ is getting traded?
If youre trading him Ill give you a suggestion: Go for Boozer, but thats just a suggestion... hope it goes far :D

Like I said in the PM, glad you solved your problem and good luck (Y). I'd recommend going for one of the players from this year's draft, maybe Marvin Williams or Granger.

And I'm going to see them in Toronto!

NBA NEWS

Postby Gator on Thu Sep 15, 2005 9:39 am

NBA NEWS:

The New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets will be playing their first game of the season on November 2nd, 7:00 p.m (I'll be playing this game tomorrow). They are facing no other than the Toronto Raptors. Raptors --- Trying to make the playoffs even though they had lost their STAR player who had left to New Jersey/Brookyln Nets, Vince Carter. Since the Vinsanity had left Toronto, the Raptors won 1 game against the Nets, and the Nets won 1 against the Raps. Let's see who wins game 3 today. Will it be the Bk Nets?... or The Toronto Raptors?

**Other News**

- Ray Allen is injured and isn't going to be playing a few games during the dynasty.

Starry, Starry, Night.

Postby Gator on Sat Sep 17, 2005 7:15 am

STARRY, STARRY, NIGHT

The square off between the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors has finally been over. The Toronto Raptors prevail with the W while the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets loose on their home court. The Raptors made sure that the 'Vinsanity' didn't make that many baskets as he did in game 2 (39 points) when the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets prevailed with the victory. Vince Carter only had 11 points, grabbing 2 boards, 1 block, and 1 steal. Nenad Kristic and Richard Jefferson had a combonation with 33 points together. Nenand Kristic had 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 7 blocks, and 3 steal. Meanwhile, RJ had 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. The player of the game was no other than Rafer 'Skip' Alston. Rafer had 29 points (58%, 1/2 3pt, 6/7 ft.), 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals. Chris Bosh the 4th pick in the 2003 Nba Draft also had a great game. Bosh had 10 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assists, 4 blocks, 1 steal. Hopefully, next time in game 4 the Nets will prevail with the W.

This is my favourite picture. Nenad Kristic hitting the jumper over rookie Charlie Villanuea.
