"We would love to have Gary down here," O'Neal said. "Gary is [37] years old, but he is still tenacious on defense. I know he still wants [a championship], and I am the only guy in the world that can give him one."
funny, am i the only one who remembers Shrek coming short of his promise just over a year ago?
I hope to god, this happens and I pray every night they land Billups' personal bitch....

exactly.....he still has to face the Easts 2 toughest teams...physically and mentally => Detroit & Indiana. If one doesnt get the job done the other will.

I must say that Shaq is too over confident that his Heat will win the 2006 championship after I had read that article.

the best finals would be heat vs spurs cause they are the two best teams, maybe not in chemistry though!

The only guarantee is that Shaq will show up to pre-season training overweight.

Shaq's guarantees have been a jinx since the fourth straight title decree. Still, he was only five games away from achieving it last year. Brash comments usually invite a further fall.

Shaq guaranteed a 4th straight title-didn't work
Shaq guaranteed a championship last year with the Heat-didn't work
Shaq now guarantees a finals appearance this year??? man, hes getting old...and he can't get there with a weak bench (who are their bench players anyway?)

The Heat's depth pool isn't too bad, chemistry is should be the greater concern.

Indiana, Detroit & Spurs....these are the teams Miami must go through. Tough ask given that all 3 have improved.

He should just keep his big mouth shut.
Although, he's losing confidence in his old age. Last year it was an NBA Championship, this year it's only the NBA Finals..
