Alright, I'm going to ask you to slow down. Spell things, use capital letters at the beginning of sentences, and look both ways before you cross the street.

I am not the idiot you are making me out to be. I know there are more than one Enlgish accent. And I find it weird how "there is no English accent", yet in your next post you refer to it as an English accent. Just because there's a bunch of them doesn't mean they're not all English accents. You wouldn't tell me that Nike's aren't shoes because there are other shoes, would you? Actually, I wouldn't put it past you. I can tell the differences between an accent, maybe not every single little thing like they pronounce some random word slightly differently.

Alright, I'm going to ask you a second question. What makes Slick Rick a "boitch"? Is it his classic storytelling songs? Is it that he moved away from England? Is it that he wears an eyepatch? What is it?

Finally, where did this "upper class whiney b!tch from L.A" enter the equation? Who are you talking about?

I will acknowledge that a UK artist could make an artistically good song with good lyrics and he might even be able to scrounge for a good beat, but that sound just gets at me.

Now don't reply with "fuk u, mu7hafucka, u dun kno sh!t bout UK hip-hop." Number one, you look like an idiot. Number two, 99% of the rap fans that type like that don't know what the fuck they're talking about. Exhibit A: you.

ok i won't reply with "fuk u" but instead ima call u a pretentous smartass canadian kid tryin to be a big man on a forum dam thas a lil weak init? seriously and slick rick is a biotch cuz his tunes stink out the joint and only sounded good 20 years ago

Oooo, one for three. Tough break. You want to try answering the other two questions now? And while you're at it you can give a reason for not liking Slick Rick. I'll give you this: 20 years ago he didn't have an album out, 17 years ago he released a classic album filled with the best storytelling songs hip-hop has ever seen, 2 years after that he released a very good album loaded with the usual, 6 years ago he released yet another very good album with more of the same stories along with some amazing cameos.

And I'll take "pretentous" and smartass over 'unintelligent kid from England who types like he dropped out of Brooklyn Elementary in 3rd grade so he could panhandle to support his mother's crack addiction that left him mentally scarred.' But that's just my preference.

Where did you buy your copy of "The Big Book of Standard Internet Insults"? I wouldn't mind having it so I could tell you what page all of your crappy insults are from. This is not 'running my mouth' anyways, this is having an opinion and stating it with facts. It's called debating, and it's part of the reason for 4000+ posts. And yes I do talk about stuff like this with my friends, but the ones I hang out with are smart enough to be able to find common ground.

Weekend job: check, I referee basketball games
Girlfriend: check, have had a couple in the past few years

What do you hear about Vancouver? That it's consistently in the top two or three of the best cities to live in? That many other cities send city planners heere to base their cities off of Vancouver? Or is it the fact that there is world-class skiing and snowboarding in the winter, while you can swim at the beach in the summer? And if you hadn't been a member at this site for a mere 7 days, you would know that I am a very sarcastic person that is just using the silly name 'Van-City' in the same way people might say GGGG-Unit when a silly G-Unit groupie is around. And you telling me to show respect is laughable. I'm the one presenting an argument here, in hopes your brain cells might band together and reproduce like rabbits so there would be enough to form an actual sentence. But hey, what does a 'dorkey canidian loser' know about respect?

I wonder how i can stomach picking through your abstract array of letters to find words. And I absolutely love hip-hop, the last 3 albums I listened to were K-OS - Joyfull Rebellion, Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, and Edan - Primitive Plus. I've got a good 25 GB of it on my computer. And in terms of Canadian rap, K-OS, Maestro, Swollen Members, and even Kardinal on his good days are so much more talented than any UK rappers. It's not like Canada is great for hip-hop, but I don't go around saying it is. So that argument is mute. You can go ahead and pay for my trip to England and I'll tell this to your face. What is the big deal with that?

I have heard of those rappers u were just listing. I don't like Swollen members. There jokes. K-os, Kardinal and Maestro are good. Choclair and Shades of black are good too. My cousin from there introduce me to there songs.

Swollen Members aren't that good, they have a few good songs. But that's a few more good songs than any of the artists he listed. I can't believe I missed Choclair though. That was a mistake on my part. He is awesome. "Turn it on, light it up. We gon' set this, on fire"

I think Dizzee Rascal is pretty good, but it's not really rap IMO, more like a mix of some styles.
I've also heard that track where three English dudes tried to diss Common for saying some shit about interracial couples or something, that sucked sooooo bad.

Yeah, we're all so scared of you, e-gangsta. You look like a (more) gay version of Kirk Hinrich with the down syndrom.

Haha when you going to upgrade, damn broadband is getting real cheap now.

UK hip hop has its moments, like most type of music (same as Aussie hip hop) you gotta sort through it and eventually you'll find some hot shit. Artists like Klashnekoff, Kano, Lethal B, JME are all very good artists from the UK scene.

I recently came across a group called "Spooks". They've got a style closely resembling that of The Fugees. Give 'em a listen if you haven't already... it's too bad they haven't put out anything in a while though. Solid lyrics, catchy choruses and nice beats. Any thoughts?
