Suggestions about three point ratings noted. As far as the blocks are concerned, those players are getting decent numbers given how few minutes they are playing, so I feel those ratings are appropriate.

Thank a lot :D

Maybe you can raise the dunking for the following guys ...

Amir Johnson
Rawle Marshall
Monta Ellis
Louis Williams
Cj Miles

They all have appeared in a dunk contest. Rawle Marshall was in this years NCAA's competition and the rest of the guys were in the Mcdonalds High School Dunk. They looked like impressive dunkers.

I'll take a look at those dunk ratings. About Von Wafer, if you have any suggestions as far as a CAP is concerned, by all means let me know. I do the best that I can with Create-a-Player, though some of the second rounders probably could be better...thus suggestions for tweaks to created players' appearances are most welcome.

Kobe Bryant jump rating should be like 99 not 94.
He owns a world record of vertical jumping
And dunking should be more than 90,c`mon man at least 95.

http://www.ireland.com/sports/olympics2004/features/odwyer.htm

But as the weeks tick down, he tends to think of Athens not as the promised land but merely as another tournament. He wants to see some weightlifting and some basketball - he is just two centimetres shy of Kobe Bryant's world-record standing vertical leap of 124 cm - and to cheer on as many of the Irish athletes as he can.

Adrian grew to be a normal teenager in most respects. He stayed in his room a lot, watching horror films, listening to death metal and feeling, like most teenagers do, that he wasn't normal. But of course, like most teenagers, he was. In most respects. He inherited some of his German grandfather's size (he's 6' 5), and all of his parent's natural athleticism. He became interested in athletics. He found he was a good high jumper.

Nobody famous or great ever came from Kilkenny. At a meeting, he met an old woman from Northern Ireland, Maeve Kyle, who had represented Ireland at the Melbourne Olympics almost 50 years before. She told him he had natural talent. He asked her to help him make the most of it. He went to live with her and her husband in Northern Ireland. He got better. Apart from being a good orthodox high jumper, only one man in the world can jump higher than he can from a standing start (that man is Kobe Bryant). The US colleges came with offers of sports scholarships, world class training facilities, lots of money. He turned them away. The German athletics federation heard about this grandson of Werner and Ama Marx and came with a similar offer. He thought about it, but again, turned them away.

I've never heard of that before and quite frankly, it sounds bogus. I will not change Kobe's ratings for Dunking and Jumping. Sorry.

He wants to see some weightlifting and some basketball - he is just two centimetres shy of Kobe Bryant's world-record standing vertical leap of 124 cm - and to cheer on as many of the Irish athletes as he can. He does not imagine romance blossoming on the trackside, not unless Drew Barrymore is unexpectedly chosen on the USA Olympic relay team. He is excited at the prospect of taking part in this global athletic sundance but he is not intimidated. He is not going along to snap the pictures for posterity from the middle of the athlete's parade during the Opening Ceremony.

Ok, that is from the site. But, I searched around the net and only this site mentions it. How accurate is the Irish Times? Still, it does seem legit though.

Hey Andrew can I use your players.dbf file for a patch I am working on.

Re: Permission

Mon Sep 19, 2005 8:10 pm

It's just weird that such a fact has never come up, especially given all the hype Kobe gets/has gotten so far in his career. I really don't consider those sources all that official or proven, since it's never been mentioned before anywhere.

If you really want to make those changes, you'll have to make them yourself.

Depends what kind of patch it is. If it's another current roster update, then no. If it's some kind of special patch, maybe. You'd have to give me a bit more info.

Probably the last or second last that I'll be doing, and I'll hand it over to someone as soon as I can after my last update.

IMPORTANT

Yes, I know missed the roster release date. I'm afraid I'll have to delay it until at least next week, I don't think I'll be able to get it done before then. My apologies and thanks for your patience and understanding.

Maybe it's because of the media these days that makes this information not widespread? They don't really want to mention the positives of him these days, I guess. The hype has been moving over to Wade, LeBron, Amare, and Carmello lately. I think the writer of that article would have checked for the record before writing it into the Irish Times to compare to another athlete of their own.

Maybe, but it seems like something we would have heard of some time ago. Like I said, I'm not making that change as I don't really consider those credible sources. Sorry, but that's my final word on the matter.

Not sure what you mean there.

killer, did you install Lpasso's cyberfaces? I know that when you do, some of the skin tones of his faces don't match the body color Andrew gave them. If you look on the first page of this thread, I posted a list of the changes I made for them to match
