Error Message [Live 2000]

Postby mortalsoul3 on Thu Aug 04, 2005 10:24 am

What does the following error message:

"Unhandled Exception ######### at address ########

Stack Trace Unavailable"

. . . mean?

Occurs whenever trying to run Live 2000 now. There are actual digits in place of the #s, but I did not copy their exact sequence.

Thanks.

did you installed a patch since last time you played the game without getting any error message?

This is why when i played Live 2000 i would make back-ups from time to time.
I never figured it out, just would do it; and then i would have to re-install.

In my case, I've installed the menus, courts, and scoreboard patches. It works fine with the 1 on 1, but it crashes when I try to play an exhibition game. Why?

Eventually, I came to find that the problem with my copy of Live 2000 was an excessively scratched compact disc.

Your problem is related to a patch you've installed. Re-install the game then install the patchs one by one to identify which one makes your game crash

I'm having the same problem. I just pulled Live 00 out for some reason..b/c i saw people talkin about it..lol. It used to work 5 years ago on my old computer..lol. I get that same error message..then it asks me if i want to dump the file. If i click no..nothing happen..if i click yes..it saves something. Try again...same thing pops up!

I just bought a new copy of nba live 2000 because i thought my original was too scratched up. The game still doesn't work and i have the same error mortalsoul is describing. I don't have any patches and the game is currently uninstalled. Do I need a patch just to play the game on XP? Thanks
