How did you find out about the forums?

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

um, i think i was doing a info search on NBA Live 2000 which was due out shortly. Stumbled onto the black and blue forums and remember some classic stuff like some guy playing KG at his natural postion of PG and Yohance challenging Cocobee to an actual 1-on-1 in NYC.

Guess i've been on the boards for 5yrs now.

I was trying to update my live rosters manually, and it turned out to be quite a difficult task, so I thought that since NHL had official roster updates, then NBA live had them too. It turns out there weren't any so I tried to join the forums but something about my account was screwed up and I never got the email verification letter, so I thought to myself "bah screw it", I stayed in .org for a while. I posted my dynasty in .org but it barely got any views and I looked at some of the amazing dynasties here and I thought that I might actually get some replies if I posted it here. So then I tried to use my account again, and it worked this time.

I was playing online in Live 03. Lots of people had patches so I asked where they got it from and they said nba-live.com I checked out the place, visited often for patches and after about a while I decided to look at the Forums. Couple days after that I joined.

First I searched for NBA Live 2004 cheats..
Then got into NLSC, but then no cheats...
But PATCHES! But then the interface of the site sucks...
So I went on #2 of the Googled results.. which is .org

Then I loved it there, ppl were nice.. Good patches
So I thought .org is quality and NLSC is quantity..

Then .org became dull and boring... So I moved to NLSC 8-)

I went to the toilet, then I took a dump. The poop in the pot spelt NLSC. So I ran a google on the letters NLSC to see if others had pooped those letters too & what do you know, I came across the NLSC.

Woah.

I did a LIVE search back in 1998 and found this site when Tim & Lutz were running it. We had a great crew back then(DRESPN, abhi_coolman, matt-cambyman, flexxdaddy, cocobee, kujo, etc.) Fun times.

I typed in NBA Live, and found out about these rosters, back whenever Tim and Lutz were around. I knew about the forums since the black and blue days, but never really wanted to register till I was bored one day and decided to register.

I found the forum shortly after I created it.

But if you're talking about the original forum and the NLSC when Tim, Lutz and Brien were running the show, I found that back in 1997 when I was searching for NBA Live 96 stuff. I started patching around 1998 but didn't really get involved in the forum scene until around 2000.

I found this site when I was trying to find a newer patch for NBA Live99 because Vince Carter didn't dunk at all in the second official patch that EA released.
I joined the forums hoping that the members will also be able to help me with some Live99 issues. Guess I was wrong.
I think Andrew once had a site dedicated to NBA Live99 :?:
