Postby ShAuN on Sun Aug 21, 2005 6:38 am

Does anyone have a good trade to trade Yao and someone for a good PF/C and PG? My current roster is:

Starting 5

ImageImageImageImageImage

C - #11 Yao Ming
PF - #21 Stromile Swift
SF - # 1 Tracy McGrady
SG - # 9 Andre Iguodala
PG - #13 Mike James

Bench

PG - # 7 David Wesley
SG - #20 Jon Barry
SF - #40 Ryan Bowen
PF - # 5 Juwan Howard
C - # 0 Samuel Dalembert
SF - #23 Greg Buckner
C - #42 Vin Baker

Injured Reserve

SG - #25 Moochie Norris

I wanna keep Tmac and Iggy and Stro. But I wanna deal out Yao, and Juwan. Kind of James, Barry, or Wesley. Please let me know. Thanks.

How did you get Iggy and Dalembert on your team. Who did you trade for them?

76ers Trade: SG Andre Iguodala, SF Greg Buckner, and C Samuel Dalembert.

SF- T-Mac
SG- Luther head (now rated 66 cuz i trained him alot)

tradin in this game aint easy so i cant help ya but itll be wise 2 keep Yao cuz he becomes rated 90 in a few seasons

If you don't like Yao, try moving him for A.Stoudamire or maybe Eddie Curry and Tyson Chandler if possible. Stoudamire is great (although a little injury prone) and the two Bulls become solid, if not semi-star material as they dynasty progressed. Tyson especially becomes a great defensive player.

I like Hinrich at the PG as he's young, a good passer and can hit the 3. Brevin Knight is good if you don't use the PG much except for passing, and he's cheap.

Ummmm, Center and PG.....

Curry/Hinrich comes to mind

Ilgauskas/James would be scary (LeBron can play PG any day of the week)

Try giving up Yao/Juwan and James/Wesley(whichever is highest rated)

for

LeBron/Igauskas/Their worst player

Also, I'd run McGrady at SG and Iggy at SF, McGrady is much quicker than most SG's anyways and Iggy needs to beat his man and drive to the hoop to score effectively

i started off with rosters from early last season, so basically i had jon barry and those guys in the team already.

if you wanna get juwan out, here's something i pulled with cleveland that got me a better guard and a better pf (who i use as a starter):

i traded:
pf juwan howard
sg bob sura

i got:
pf drew gooden
pg jeff mcinnis
-----
my starters:
c yao
pf gooden
sf padgett (to exploit better 3-pt shooting and spread the floor early on)
sg mcgrady
pg mcinnis

significant guys used in my 8-man rotation:
sg k. rush (normally comes in as sg, tmac to pg when mcinnis gets tired)
sf j. jackson (always an sf)
c mutombo (either pf or c depending on who needs a rest)

other reserves:
pg t. lue
pf m. taylor
pf c. weatherspoon
sf b. nachbar

IR:
pf p. shirley (this was from earlier in my dynasty when gooden got injured and i had to play mo/weatherspoon)

with mcinnis as the point man i somehow manage to get a running game going all the time, and whenever the AI manages to catch up with me, i always have yao down low to finish the job... and gooden of course.

how many seasons into your dynasty are you?
what do you need your centre to do?

if you need a rebounder, ok-blocker and great shooter, get milicic from detroit.
im 10 years into my dynasty, and about 5-7 years into it milicic got really good
his good stats are
fg: 80
3point: 74
block: 78
Rebouding (off/def): 65/88
Inside Scoring: 98

He can also run and is quick, stamina is low, but i never train that...
he should also be sorta cheap (compared to yao anyway)

*gah, nvm realised this was a month old... you probly got a decent centre by now*
