Magic get Easy win against Wolves

The Orlando Magic beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 99-87.

The largest lead of the game for the Magic was 18 points, the Wolves managed to catch up and be down by 9 but thats as far as they went. I managed to keep my lead and beat the Wolves 99-87. Dwight Howard was limited to 12 points 10 rebounds and 3 blocks but Jason Kidd came back from injury and scored a team-high 23 points. He also dished out 8 assists. Udonis Haslem had another great performance with 10 points off the bench. For the Wolves, it seemed like Sam Cassel was the only one who came out on offense. He finished with 28 points. Kevin Garnett ended the night with a quiet 19 points and 8 rebounds but played great defense blocking 6 shots.

ImageMagic STATS:
C Howard-- 12pts-10rebs-3blks
PF Thomas-- 12pts-5rebs (fouled out in the fourth)
SF Turkoglu-- 12pts
SG Murray-- 17pts
PG Kidd-- 23pts-8asts
Key bench player:
PF Haslem-- 10pts

You'd think the Wolves would be tougher. Nice win. In that pic Jason Kidd looks strangely very white. I mean more than usual.

Garrity's Buzzer-Beater sinks the Knicks

The Orlando Magic beat the New York Knicks 98-95.

The game was close through out the fourth quarters of play. Both teams shoting incredibly well from the field, knocking jumpshots from all over the court. Cuttino Mobley and Marbury were on fire and seemed like they couldn't miss a shot. With 1:44 seconds left in the game, the score was 88-88. In a Knicks turn-over, Jason Kidd leads the fast break. Knicks are able to stop the fast-break which leads to a Kidd-Howard pick and roll. Kidd drives it and scores. 90-88 Magic. The Knicks take it up the court. Marbury threads the needle with a pass to Tim Thomas who makes the hook shot. After that, Howard gets double-teamed and losses the ball, so the Knicks have a chance to take the lead. Mobley drives it in and kicks it out for an open Tim Thomas! He shoots the 3 and makes it! 93-90 Knicks with 41 seconds to go. In our next possesion, Kidd passes it to Turkoglu in the wing. Turkoglu is closely guarded but still shoots the 3 and makes it! 93-93 with 30 seconds to go. Knicks, led by Mobley, make another jumpshot and now its up to me to prove that I can pull through. I drive it in with Jason Kidd who gets fouled and calmly makes both free-throws. 95-95 with 24 seconds to go. Knicks waste time and with 3 seconds left, Mobley takes the shot and misses it. Thomas with the rebound and the time-out. I had 2 seconds left and I wanted to give the ball to my best shooter. Pat Garrity comes in for the FIRST TIME IN THE WHOLE GAME. THE INBOUNDS PASS GOES TO GARRITY, HE LOOKS AT THE CLOCK AND WHILE DOUBLE-TEAMED, HE TAKES THE 3 AND.......ITS GOOD!!!!! Magic win!!!!

ImageMagic STATS:
C Howard-- 25pts-9rebs
PF Thomas-- 19pts-12rebs
SF Turkoglu-- 11pts
SG Murray-- 14pts-7asts
PG Kidd-- 22pts-8rebs-7asts
Key bench player:
SF Garrity-- 3pts (game-winning 3) [only played 3 seconds!]

Knicks STATS:
SG Mobley-- 41pts
PG Marbury-- 30pts
SF Thomas-- 17pts

C and PF from Knicks left SCORELESS
