The George Foreman Grill rocks! I use it every day, literally. I think what DWeaver was trying to show with the boiling is that most of the protien would be retained, whereas cooking it will reduce the total protien amount.

dweaver.. why don't you broil or even throw the chicken in a convection oven.? this is just as hardcore- you get the same amount of protein and more importantly it's much easier on the taste buds

What's a convection oven? Regular cooking in teh oven usually requires some oil and spice, lest the chicken be burned to a crisp.

a convection oven is similar to a regular oven but the process in which the meats are cooked results in lower fat content meals. the ones i've seen are powered electrically and ideal for 1 to 2 persons. it's pretty versatile- you could do simple things such as toast breads, bake cookies, to something more "complicated" like cooking steaks/chickens

i went to the store "big lots" and got one for $40.00 (Y)

lol i dont know how you cook your chicken or what kind of oven you have, maybe you have the temp. setting too high, but chicken unseasoned or not oiled will be burnt anyway if you cook it unproperly.

those are 2 different things

both types use air heated by gas/electrical burner normally located on the bottom of the oven

however...

CONVECTION ovens have a fan in the back of the inside that circulates the heat. this results in heat being distributed more quickly & evenly which, resulting in the food being cooked evenly and more quickly

CONVENTION ovens do not possess this fan therefore food may not be cooked evenly and 'hot spots' will develop inside the oven

Let me explain how to do this. You might want to print out this page and keep it in case you forget how.

1. You plug in the Foreman Grill, then you let it pre-heat for 5 minutes. At the same time, you could be defrosting the chicken breasts in the microwave.

2. After the five minutes, place the chicken breasts on the grill. Wait about 10 minutes.

3. You remove the chicken breasts from the grill.

It might be difficult to learn at first, but you'll get the hang of it after continuous practice.

Very complicated cooking here: Dump in water and boil for 20 minutes.

actually i was referring to your false assumption that chicken automatically will burn in the oven if you season/oil it

just as long as the chick is not fried or not covered in chocolate, you won't be loading up on the stuff you're trying to avoid lol

and unless you've entered in some body building competition or fitness instructor competition, i think it's ridiculous to load up on protein via boiling chicken just for a nicer physique

you can build a nice physique and still enjoy your meals

 Nope, I'm just an amayeur body-builder... But I aim for perfection in all things, so you might understand the overreacting about chicken...

Where we're from, we can buy boneless, skinless chicken breast only in boxes. I think the rest of the scrap goes to McDonald's.

Just put some strawberries in a blender, and then add some orange juice (that or milk, I think it's orange juice though). Tastes awesome if you like strawberries.
