Need some "bench" advice

Postby xtianjay on Wed Mar 19, 2003 10:46 pm

First off, 2001 is a GREAT GAME! (simply coz I can't get 2003 to run on my old PC hehehe).

Okay, I made my own franchise. I'm in my second year already. I only have 2 of each position--> 1 starter player and 1 backup. (so that's like 10 peeps in the roster hehehe) I really feel like I have such a small bench but when I play the game, I already have all I need, starters and backups.

If I should hire more bench players, what positions should I consider?

I suggest a guard who can play both backcourt positions, and a forward who can fill in anywhere in the front court (someone versatile and talented enough to play SF, but also with enough size to play centre). I can't give any specific examples, since I don't know who you've got available to sign in your Franchise.

I would sign a swingman and a big man. Maybe sign a point guard and just keep one of them on the IL.
