It's like a relationship. You don't want to keep going if you've been cheated on. I've been cheated on here by the sliders.

Anyway, Asdf has a very good Live 04 dynasty going with the Nuggets.

I think I would still be able to make a very good new dynasty because I have time and all, there would be frequent updates although I can't promise anything because of this job opportunity I might have in another country which might mess up my dynasty because it will make me quite busy. Then again I don't see that happening so soon that I won't be able to get through a couple of 29-game seasons.

I would like to thank everyone who's supported me and given feedback on this thread. It was fun until I realized it wasn't. :|

Oh well, good luck on whatever team you're going to be.

Edit: Thanks for the compliments on my dynasty. :D

Sorry about changing my mind so often but I'm still considering whether to start a new dynasty or keep going with this one. You see...

...if I take a really bad team I will have to think of ways to score with them. There probably won't be many ways so the game could get even more un-basketball-like.

And it's not fun to let all this stuff I've done go to waste so to speak. So I'm still undecided.

As you can see I decided to continue. I HATE being blocked 14 times by the opposing post players, and now I'm going to the line way too often. Obviously there's more slider work to be done again.

But thanks for all your support, after playing this game it feels like it could all be a real blast again.

BULLS SURPRISE NUGGETS IN DENVER

Chicago 88
Denver 78

Chicago Bulls caused the first defeat of the season for the Denver Nuggets. After the first half, it looked again as though the Nuggets would cruise to victory, but the Bulls came out with a different attitude after the break and got the third quarter by 30 points to 12. Joe Johnson hit some impressive three-pointers late in the fourth but it was too late. Player of the game was Bulls' center Eddy Curry, who was surprisingly dominant over veteran Marcus Camby. Curry hit almost all of his shots. Denver had 21 points from Johnson and 20 from Anthony, as well as an impressive 9-point 8-rebound performance from second round draft pick Guy Grunfeld, who hit three impressive jump shots in the second quarter.

"I don't know what happened to us", said Johnson. "We somehow just lost our focus completely and couldn't get any of our shots to fall. But this is only our first defeat and it's a long season. We must not let this get us down."

The Nuggets continue in January with a game against the LA Lakers.

Starters:
Chicago (4-4 before game)
C E. Curry
F T. Chandler
F L. Deng
G B. Gordon
G K. Hinrich

Denver (9-0 before game)
C M. Camby
F Nene
F C. Anthony
G J. Johnson
G J. Williams

Player of the game:
Curry CHI 20/6

Team leaders:
CHI: Deng 16/5, Chandler 12/6, Hinrich 12/3 ast, Gordon 11
DEN: Johnson 21, Anthony 20, Nene 15/11, Grunfeld 9/8

Box scores:
Bulls

Cheers, Sac-1. Yep, I think they are quite tough. I've worked on them and done some comparisons and I might as well post the ones which I'm using in the next game against Lakers, not Clippers as I posted.

I've tried to compensate for all the things I'm good at and do things such as reduce fouls because the CPU fouls a lot more than I do.

Important! On-ball physical defence is 40. It's no point having it over 40, because otherwise your player will do a drop-step, creating easy space and easy points!

Player of the month awards handed out

Shaquille O'Neal and Elton Brand were named NBA players of the month for December. The rookie awards went to Germain James of the New Jersey Nets and LaPhonso Tipton, a Memphis Grizzlies power forward.

Martin to return

Denver Nuggets have confirmed Kenyon Martin is fit to play against the Los Angeles Lakers next week. The power forward had missed the last two games due to injury.

Well, as it is right now I'm still undecided. I have nine wins now and I will probably make the playoffs anyway. But these settings are quite tough. I will struggle, and I wouldn't want to struggle with this team and it would completely screw up the dynasty again, having a nine-game winning streak and then losing all the time...

Thanks for the feedback, but the thing is this is a winning team. So what am I supposed to do? Change sliders to easier when I lose and change them harder when I win? I'm sorry about making this dynasty a mess but I could make a much better one if I started a new one.

So why don't I call it a day here. Thanks for all your input, opinions and suggestions and everything to everyone and anyone who's posted here. I'll try to make my new dynasty even better.
