Rename Gund Arena

can someone change Gund Arena text into Quicken Loans Arena onto its hardwood? or can someone teaches me how to change it. tnx.

dude..your tutorial is great! though I hve a big favor..i successfully edited clevcrt.fsh and changed gund arena's name into Quicken Loans..
i have a small problem though, why is the black background is also seen during gameplay? there is a black bg along with Quicken Loans Arena text over the hardwood.

That's because the black background in the .fsh is put there by the game. You have to make the image on a transparent background, and when you import it to the .fsh, the background is shown black, but when you play a game, the background is transparent, and you see the hardwood. Go figure, they just have to make it confusing for us

but how do you make the bg transparent?

Create a new raster object the same size as the part of the .fsh you are replacing. When you create it, select transparent background. Than just put your image on the background.

sigh, i still have no luck of doing it the right way, i set my bg to transparent still, white bg shows in the game

When you make your text with PS or PSP etc. remove the background and save it as .png then import your png in fsh file with FSHX

Do you use Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop? I know that I couldn't make a transparent background in Paint Shop Pro for some reason , so I used Photoshop to do it.

.png file is not supported by FSHX

u can do this when u want to import a .png file
texture import
then type this is "name of file".png and open it

With Photoshop you do this:

File>New> (put the size of the file you want) and choose Background: Transparent> then you make the file>Save as>choose a name (ex. gundarena) and save it as png.

Then open the fsh file with FshX, click on Import, go to the folder where you saved the png and type the name of it (ex. gundarena.png).
That's it, hope you understood
