it seems like she likes you, hang out with her outside of school & just get to know her mabye shell take the initiative of being somthing more thna friends, she could have trust issues as to why she dosent really have true friends..heres somthing that just might help you win her over:
find out what her favorite animal is, then go get her a stuffed animal of it, shell do the awww how sweet thing and shell probably tell anyone she talks to how sweet you are for doing that.
the smoking comment was really bad though, most girls dont like it if a guy smokes, even if the girl smokes.. it dosent make sense but thats how we think.

well, im at home right now cause i do not have a 3rd period... and i had 1st period with her (advanced criminal justice). I arrived late for the first period and there was an open seat right behind her! i took it and we did some criminal justice review. the teacher said that these were our permanent seats... so a few people moved and i had the chance to move by a friend but i chose to stay... my friend was like-wtf, so he moved over to us. (i think he may think that i like her because i didnt want to move... but i made up a lie and said that the side of the class that we were on was smarter then his side) when we got done doing review we had like 45 minutes to do whatever. so we started talking (me, my friend, and the girl). we mainly talked about last year and crazy stuff i did. she seemed interested and was usually laughing at the stupid stuff i had done. thats pretty much all we did... i kinda told her about myself through the stuff i had done the last year.

hanging out outside of school i think would be kinda too fast... i dont really even know her all that much. i think she considers me a friend by now and i still cant determine if shes got an interest in me. and the stuffed animal thing would just be weird... thats something a bf/gf would do...

With the stupid stories, try not to overdo it with them otherwise she'll think you're a goofball brother type... that's the worst thing, when a girl decide's you're better to have as a friend.
