YEAR 7: Culture shock. I showed up at school and was kinda nervous, since it was the first day of high school and all. I went to an assembly and standing there was a guy who would've been an easy 6'6. I asked him how old he was and he goes "12". I gave him my "join the circus, freak" look (which kinda looks like a mix of

YEAR 8: I switched schools to be closer to my local basketball stadium. It was in a posh area, surrounded by gigantic houses and the most gorgeous teenage girls you will ever see. I don't know what it is, rich people = hot. Maybe it's the home gym's or something. Anyways it was a decent school, well designed and I had a grand total of 1 guitar lesson while I was there. It sucked, I still owe the teacher her $18.
Year 9: I switched back to my old school when I realised 2 busses a day wasn't worth an hour a day extra basketball... if that makes sense. The school was same old same old... boring to the point where I actually dropped out for 3 months half way through the year. I went back and passed the grade, but still didn't want to be there. When it's 40 degrees outside and you're in the middle of nowhere these things get boring.
Year 10: I didn't bother going back to school for year 10 until my best friend persuaded me to go to his high school. I went there about 1/2 way through the year and loved it. The place kicked ass, the people were great and I s0 d0min8d 0n d@ bball c0urt. Also while playing rugby league. As fate would have it, I moved to England about 2 weeks before the end of the year so I never finished the grade.

Year 12: Yes, after failing to complete the 10th grade I went straight into year 12 in England. The work was easy enough, but the most difficult things were the distractions. Being foreign means everyone wants to know you, so basically everytime I had a class there were 10 or so people with free periods who wanted me to hang out with them. Being as weak willed as I am, I skipped a whole lot of lessons. I also used to take JD and coke to school so I would be able to stay awake since I was always out at night too.
I had an absolute Nazi for a teacher. She even had a moustache and took an instant hate to me. I never got caught smoking weed or drinking on school grounds at all, but I did get court with my shirt untucked, the wrong shoes on and also for playing basketball during free periods (which isn't allowed). One day I had free's all morning so I went into school late, she confronted me because my shirt was untucked (I was on my way to play basketball, for the school so I was getting changed as I walked) and fully verballed me. I just nodded and grinned which bothered her, and she told me to go and see her in her office. After I'd finished playing basketball I couldn't be fucked, so I went to my last class and went home.
Later that night I was out with some friends and my mum called me to say the teacher had called and said she wanted me and her (my mum) to see her on Monday. I thought it was an alright idea and maybe I'd be able to get a few things off my chest. About 30 minutes later I got another call from my mum, she said the female teacher had called her back and said "Actually don't worry about the meeting, it would be best if Jae no longer attended our school"... I later found out that she had no authority to kick me out, so I was illegally expelled. Awell.
In case you forgot the question, how's school life been for you?
