- Blocking layups, that would be nice. I'll bet it requires a whole new set of animations, though.
- Better transition AI. Players don't really run lanes or cut to the hoop very well.
- Better reaction to double team. If the PG, for example, is doubled-up, the off man on the offense needs to space things better. As it is, he stands as close to the PG as possible, in fact, following him around, almost as if he is defending his own defender. The same goes for when a guy is in the post. If a third defender comes over (i.e. not the one on the post-feeder), then the corresponding offensive player needs to find an open space on the floor, but this time maybe closer to the post guy (instead of being all the way on the other side, even when the double team has come).

Of course it would, but Ea has never had any problems with adding graphics.

Amazing how shortly after posting this, I saw a couple of layups blocked! Using the Nets against the Pacers, Brad Miller managed to block two of my layups. Go figure.
Another thing that I find a annoying is that an AI shooter reaction is faster after a block than the blocker reaction, so the shooter gets the ball back for an uncontested shot far too often.
