I won't "forget", however I won't add him until he's signed by an NBA team, same as everyone else looking to make a roster by October.

Thanks for the latest FanOfAll. (Y)

Strangely Sean Banks has not been drafted, but surely he'll sign with a team. He may be even a starting player. I think he has to appear in v1.16

I won't say this again - I do not add players until they have officially signed with a team! That is my position, that will remain my position. Sorry. Please understand that it makes it a lot easier for me this way, especially later in the offseason when there's a lot of players being signed for training camp who are cut very early on and never look like making the league.

About Macijauskas, he's very good 3-pt shooter, about 46% in spanish league during 3 years, dangerous if he's on fire, but not a Q-Richardson style, more Kyle Korver, better ball-handling, and 0-dunking (I never seen him dunking, and I've seen lots of game of Tau Ceramica)

About Axel Hervelle, he's a beast on the glass, very tenacious, not consistent enough, but very hard worker. He's specially good in offensive rebounds, he takes 4-5 reb per game in a 40 min game (in spanish league), above average athletic for an european PF

He andrew

You should change Kyle Korvers' THREEPTATT in dbf from 1 to 65-70
otherwise he won't attempt much 3pointers if you simulate.

He lead the NBA in 3pointers last season!

Just a brief little comment about the rookie ratings...I hadn't really looked at them too much till recently when I was playing with them...

I think they are generally a bit overrated....when compared to last season's rookies there are alot more better rated guys that you have added....I realise maybe this latest rookie crop might be a bit deeper, but thats a hard thing to judge at this point.

I looked a teh overall ratings from the 1yr players compared to the 0yr players.....now I know overall is just a number etc etc, but it is a calculated number with the other ratings contributing to it - so it indicates higher ratings.

I listed the number of players from each rookie group (this year = 0yrs; last year = 1yr) that fall into the ranges of overall ratings....Basically it shows there are HEAPS more players from this years rookie group rated 60-69 than last years guys - and especially more in the 65-69 range.

As I said, I realise this years crop may be deeper, but I still think this most recent bunch of rookies are overrated compared to other players in the game....a player rated in the 60s overall can generally be a really solid contributor in hte game - most rookies won't contribute that early.

Code: Select all
Ov Rating   0yrs   1yr
70+         3      4
65-69       9      2
60-64       10     7
55-59       8      11

Check the "Next Release" announcement thread. Last time I'm answering that question.

But as it happens, I'm just about to announce the release of v1.16.

Thanks for v1.16!! Congratulations!! But Fran Vazquez and Tamar Slay have already signed with Akasvayu Girona in Spain. Raul Lopez pretends to sign too, but it depends on Grizzlies (but he thinks they'll set him free).

Besides, Roko Ukic and Peja Drobnjak have signed with TAU Ceramica in Spain too

Andrew, I think you should lock the previous version thread, since there is a new one everytime. The discussion should occur in the latest one.

Just a suggestion. (Y)
