Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Are you sure you're that strong? Given your height-weight ratio, and the pictures you've posted, you don't look very strong ;) but then again, I knew a skinny guy who could really push people around on the court, and had a really good bench press, so I could be underestimating you.

I believe the only picture I posted that wasn't a head shot was from 3 years ago, plus I was wearing a sweatshirt. I put on a lot of muscle mass sophomore year in order to play varsity, so yeah I'm pretty strong.

Getting out of shape now... gotta hit the gym pretty soon or I can kiss playing D1 ball goodbye.

Yeah, weight can be deceiving. When I worked out with weight I was at around 175-180 pounds and I could simply outmuscle guys 20+ pounds heavier. There's a big difference between 220lbs of muscle and fat and 180 pounds of lean muscle.

don't feel sorry guys, as if you tried to come down the lane against me or Weaver you would end up flat on your back

I'd say in my teens I would have been similar height, similar weight to most of you guys (6'0", 140lbs), but alcohol and many other factors play into it after you leave high school as many of you will find out....

You should play in the NFL...

yeah, if I was a bit taller, stronger and more athletic then I could probably be a pretty decent Tight End....wait I probably lack the killer instinct for that

talking about that, I recall saying to my older brother a month or so ago that if I had of been say half a foot taller, more athletic and had a killer instinct to go along with the fundamentals and understanding of the game then I would have made a pretty good basketballer....ahh well, Live will have to do the job now....although I picked up a basketball the other day and I could still rain the jumpers....my range doesn't extend out to 24-25 feet anymore, only out to about 21-22 feet but with practice could easily be extended back out....

Jae wrote:X's is still my favourite so far... I like the "Vertical: 3"

I figured a rating of 3 allowed me to jump over the yellow pages with a running start

what are you trying to say?

but in all seriousness, I doubt there are as many superstar athletes on these forums as the ratings suggest....I do not consider myself that bad of an athlete, and with a little more fitness I am run-of-the-mill, centre of the pack type athlete....let's see some more honest assessments guys

I think mine would be "average athlete" if it wasn't for mental things like reflexes and coordination. I mean you can be a 5'10, 300lbs computer programmer and still have great reflexes and coordination.

this is for my age, not for adults

Age: 14
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 110 lbs

Speed (how fast are you): 8
Agility (how quick can you change directions): 8
Acceleration (how fast do you get to your top speed): 8
Strength (how strong are you): 6
Vertical (how high can you jump): 8
Hands (how well can you catch: 8
Reflexes (how is you reaction time): 10
Natural Athleticism (how easy do athletic activities come to you): 9
Coordination (how coordinated are you): 7
Endurance (how long can you go without tiring): 8

92: Good Athlete

Reasonings:

Speed: I made it into provincials in track and field! but not for 100m just 400 m
Agility: overall in gr 8 i had one of best shuttle run scores until i gained starting eating junk
Acceleration: I cant accelerate fast enough for 100 M but im good in everything else.
Strength: My weight makes me weakkkk.
Vertical: I have awesome hops without any training except I dont have a good vertical my arms arent long.
Hands: In Football I cant catch with 1 hand but in basketball I get lot of steals.
Reflexes: My track coach loves my starting block reflexes and I'm only gr 8.
Natural Athleticism: I was always one of the highest jumpers and fastest runners in all the schools I went to. I didn't get a 10 cause I cant dunk on a ten foot rim
Coordination: I suck in golf
Endurance: I can only run about 4 km without stopping

I've seen this kind of thing a few times...

Agility: overall in gr 8 i had one of best shuttle run scores until i gained starting eating junk

 wouldn't that mean if you've gained weight then you'd no longer have the best shuttle run score? It's like me saying "if I did weights every single day and started training for 100m sprints with an athletics coach then I would be a great sprinter, so I'll give myself a 10 for that just incase it happens".

They have... I remember posting a picture of 2 guys in wedding dresses once. They both looked smashed and about 30 years old. Someone who's name will go unsaid *cough*mafia*cough* actually thought one of them was me, to the point where he had to ask me because it had been bothering him.

back on topic, it appears that Merc is giving me a run for All-Big Boned Team by showing a vertical leap of 2  I think Merc and I should have stuck to lawn bowls or curling on something like that :?

Hum, I'm pretty astonished that you got the same score. To prove you I'm the best I will justify my notes:

Speed (how fast are you):
I can run at last at 10km/h (6mph) (1pt per km/h) 10
Agility (how quick can you change directions):
I once destroyed my grandma with a crossover so hard that she broke her leg  10
Acceleration (how fast do you get to your top speed):
I can reach my top speed (10 km/h, see above) very quickly  10
Strength (how strong are you):
I can benchpress 100 pounds  10
Vertical (how high can you jump):
I have a 10 inches leaper (1pt per inch) 10
Hands (how well can you catch):
I have 2 hands (5 points by hand) 10
Reflexes (how is you reaction time):
If I put my hand on fire I immediately remove it  10
Natural Athleticism (how easy do athletic activities come to you):
I'm not fat I'm big boned  10
Coordination (how coordinated are you):
I usually don't fall when I'm walking, and even when I'm running! 10
Endurance (how long can you go without tiring):
I can run 10 minutes without being tired (1pt per minute) 10

total: 100

Teh score says it all Image, i'm teh best
