Utah takes a road loss in overtime

The Warriors were down 2 points, and the shot clock was ticking down. Baron Davis was looking for an open shot, when he saw Derick Fisher open. Fisher hits the 3. Now Utah, down by 1, went to Lebron James, but was not able to hit his highly contested shot in the double team.

The game was close through out the night. In the first quarter Dwight Howard was leading the team in points (10), rebounds (6), and assists (3).

The second Quarter, Lebron did an amazing cocked back jam. Also, at the half time, Dwight Howard had 18 and 11 with 5 assists! Turiaf made his NBA debut with the Jazz also. He did very good, and could earn a starter spot if he works hard.

The third Quarter had some amzing dunks. The more memorable ones were by Kobe. He did his signature reverse one handed dunk. Also, Dwight went baseline on a big white oaf (not bradley).

The forth quarter was a tight one. Towards the end, it came down to 3 free throws by Lebron. He made the first, making it a 2 point game, but he missed his second. The coach decided to have him make it n foul, but Lebron and Dwight had other plans, as lebron missed badly to Howards side. Dwight got the offensive, and threw down a monster jam to send it into overtime.

In overtime, the Jazz had to fight strong against Baron Davis and Jason Richardson. In the end, the left out Fisher and he sealed it for the GS Warriors.

Utah gets thier 1st W

The Utah Jazz only recently completed their rosters, adding the rookie PG Salim Stoudamire. Their scoring was even, unlike the other games which they lost but hadhigh scorers.

In the first quarter, Mehmet Okur made some bad decisions, and the coach pulled him. Ronny Turiaf, who had a big game the other night scoring 20 and grabbing 14 boards off the bench. In the first quater he tallied up 10 and 6.

In the second quarter, Salim decided to take over along with tariaf again. The 2 seem to have good chemistry, being out of the same draft class and all. Salim and tariaf got 3/4 of thier points in that quarter. By the half, Ronny had 18 and 9.

The third quarter is when the Jazz put away the Nuggets. Salim started it with 2 3's back to back. Then the entire team joined in hitting about 10 3's in that quarter. They also shot .785 shooting pecentage.

By the forth, everyone was just grabbing stats. Lebron james went off on assists, and had 31 points, 5 rebounds, and 10 assists. He got player of the game. Salim made a powerful debut with the Jazz.

Utah Jazz VS Denver Nuggets

Postby G-unot on Fri Aug 05, 2005 1:45 am

Utah wins 2nd denver game of the week

Utah wins its 2nd Denver game in the past 3 days. Utah and Denver were scheduled on saturday and on monday. The first game was in Denver, and Utah took that game for thier first win. Today was the same fate, only in Utah.

In the first quarter, Lebron and Kobe were the only ones hitting their shots, as they had 22 of the 28 in the first. On the nuggets side however, the rookie Julias Hodge was the leading scorer, but the scoring was even for denver in the first.

The second quarter had many thrills. Right away Ronny and Lenard got into a classic shootout. Voshon shot outside hitting 3 three's, and 2 fg's. Turiaf was goin inside, scoring 8 and missing only 2. Voshon took much more shots, so he got more points in the battle. So Turiaf won the duel by being more efficent with his shooting.

The third quarter was just a scoring fest for Utah. They shot .679 (19/28). By the half, they didnt hit one 3. In the third, they hit 5. Kobe had 11, and Lebron and Dwight ahd 12. This was the time in which the Nuggets were put in their place.

The fourth quarter, Dwight had some breathing problems, and sat out just about the entire 4th. Turiaf and Diop filled his shoes well. Salim had been quiet in the game only having 5, but in the 4th he tallied up 12. Melo and K-mart led the comeback attempt, but fell shorter than an asian with Jenna Jameson.

Lebron was givin player of the game with 32 points, 11 assists and 5 rebounds. He shot 13/28 with 2 threes. Kobe got an honorable mention with 31 points and 3 assists. He shot 13/22, and a better percentage .591 compared to Lebron .464.

The final score was 137 to 129, Jazz won.

Another win

Postby G-unot on Fri Aug 05, 2005 4:21 pm

Utah picks up a big win, scoring 173 points, a franchise high!

Utah demolished the Toronto Raptors, 173 to 126, beating them by 48 points!!! Mad props to my main man Hellboi, he completed the entire game by himself, making this the highest scoring game of mine dynasty probably ever!!!!

The first quarter started with a bang, as Dwight Howard started the game with two big dunks. Kobe started out with 13 points in the first, and Dwight had 8. Salim was cold in this quarter, so he was only avalilble for dishing the rock in tight spots.

The second quarter was lebrons quarter, as he had 23 points! The team total was 43 for that quarts, so he had about half. Also, Turiaf again made the court with a big slam, and with a block or two. He left the half with 10 and 7. Lebron had 27 and 2, so he was feelin his shot over anything tonight.

In the third quarter, salim outbursted and had 15 points. This brought him to his final score of points. He did not score again in the game. Kobe also was sold, but Dwight was a bit shaky in his game tonite, only having 16 and 10.

The fourth was belonging to Lebron. He finished the 4th scoring 18 points. The Raptors didn't have very many highlights, but they did have a solid player who did exceptional. Mo-Pete had 39 points, 19 coming in the 4th with his comeback attempt, which was futile. He insisted on staying in the game.

Lebron recieved player of the game, dropping 48 points, shooting .583. he had a shaky rebounding and assist game tonight, but Tariaf made it up for Lebron for the rebounds. Ronny had 29 points and 20 rebounds! Salim was 1 assist from a double double.

He was a monster on the glass, grabbing 20 rebounds!

Ronny also delivered on the defensive side...

...and yet again with Dwight's dirty tricks, this foul wasn't called!

Speaking of Dwight, here he goes again.

Kobe always has dunks for the highlight reel.

And i mean always!

Competition for a starting spot?!

Postby G-unot on Fri Aug 05, 2005 5:00 pm

Utah takes a break with 2 days off. During these two days, Ronny Turiaf and Mehmet Okur played several games. These helped the two bond as well as teach the young post.

The Games got heated however as Ronny disagreed with Okur about an unknown issue at the time, and the 2nd day, they played thier hearts out to try and prove the other wrong.

Ronny won the best of 3 series that they agreed to. It came down to the final game, and Ronny blocked mehmets 3 to take a 1 point lead. Then he posted up, and put on a great move which gave him the open look, sealing the series.
