I can find f.dat
and cant seem to locate my dynasty directory ?

i can't find the string to change it. I found the franchise dat folder but i cant find the
40 AB line i'm using xvi32 hex editor. Do i need a different editor?

open your saved dynasty and look at ur salary cap at management's statement or at the sign free agents screen. convert your salary cap to hex. i found out that my salary cap wasn't 43.84M but 47.9M. I don't know how this happened. Maybe the salary cap increases as you progress through ur dynasty (I'm already on my 9th season). Look for the hex string of your dynasty's salary cap, it should be there.

String not found.

My cap is 49.5M - In hex it's C15C.

000058e0h is the line, I suggest you save that info if you want to edit it more than once. I have been unable to find the new number when searching so probably finding the line for the second time helps more.
