OMG LAKERS REALLY SCREWED THEMSELVES HERE!

Ok it wasnt in dynasty mode it was in season mode. Sometimes season mode can be fun and it doesnt involve the cap. It also means the CPU trades more between each other. Using a Miami Heat season, I traded a few players to get Nene and Boykins, so they ended up with Keyon Dooling and a few other guards (To get them to go for it, I also took their crappy player Mark Pope) I felt like simming the season just for the hell of it to see what their record would be. However around mid. january in this season, I stumbled across the stupidest trade ever between CPU teams in my LIVE 05 experience.



Look down that list, and you see that Kobe Bryant was traded to Denver for Andre Miller.

Three reasons why this trade is stupid:
1) They need a backup SG, so LA gives away their only SG.
2) The difference in ratings (94 to 74)
3) The fact that Andre Miller would have to play SG in LA.

The trade would have made 2% more sense if I had accepted to trade JR Smith (who I got in a trade) to the Lakers for Jumaine Jones. Either way it sucks for LA.



The trade may have stripped Denver of some depth, but having Kobe, 'Melo, and K-Mart on one team is something.


Your thoughts on this trade? and what was the stupidest trade you have ever seen in LIVE 05 (season or dynasty, between CPU teams or with you as one of the teams)

hehehe, yea, ive seen Steve Francis traded for Lamar Odom which was pretty bad from Orlando.

I think the trading system for the CPU is managed like this:

1. Salary (does it match)
2. Interest (is it maxed for both teams?)
3. Ratings (ooops, no more kobe!)

Wow, haven't seen too many of those trades go down. I think that's the most lopsided trade I've ever seen the CPU make.

Haha what a stupid trade, hopefully this is fixed in 06

Kobe almost always gets traded for Shareef in the second year of my dynasty.
