I hate streetball.

I don't mind watching it, it can be entertaining, but I still prefer the professional game. What bothers me are the streetballers who claim they could dominate the NBA's best players. I highly doubt many of them could play in the more disciplined style of the pro game and be as successful. Rafer Alston has made the transition fairly well but there are still moments where it appears he's not completely cut out for the NBA game, in terms of attitude and team spirit.

I love the legal moves in streetball when someone does crossovers and none of that travel double dribble rubbish. Having said that, Steve Francis, Baron Davis & AI for example do way better moves than streetballers and they usually end up dunking on some 7 footers head after embarassing their opponents.

Playing "streetball" is crap too, whoever has the ball just hogs it whilst trunna make some silly move and everyone just stands around.

Yeah I hate it aswell. Specially those tools who bring a stereo to the playgrounds and play G-Unit music while practicing their moves without noticing the basket. I guess that why they call it "streetball" and not "street-basketball" because they only use the street and a ball while not giving a damn about the basket.

We were at the park with my friends, and then 4 guys come with this GIANT (I mean ENORMOUS) boombox to the court. They start playing that typical 50 Cent song and doing stupid dribbling moves without shooting!!

They would bow, and put the ball in their necks. Then they would try to take off their shirts without dropping the ball. How retarded is THAT???

Then we played them and we fucked them man, I mean like 21 - 8 in a half court game. It was just ridiculous. It's typical for this kind of players to have great dribbling and do this stupid moves, but when they get to the hoop, they miss everything!! They just focus on the shit, but never on the basket.

The only street moves I know are In Between The Legs Layup and Crossover. I've done my Crossover TWICE in School this year. I did the Through The Legs thing like 10 Times, made it like 4 Times.

If I'm watching streetball for the purpose of flashy moves, then that's fine, but if I want to play streetball, I want serious, aggressive basketball. Not flashy garbage where I'm left watching some idiot do fancy dribbling moves, go for a layup and watch it bounce off the backboard and miss the rim entirely.

i was in a pick up game long ago with a couple of em streetballers. they were dribbling doing some assist shit reversing basic lay ups and all. i just do my thing score at an open basket hit the 3's and bounce passes to open guys.....the score was like 31-14 in a race to 35 match. those dumb streetballers were staring at each other in utter disbelief. hell i felt like i was stockton against Lebron and Iverson but hey we won(and pretty much earn cash). i guess if streetballers wanna do more of those wasted movements before anything good done they must first think of winning the fucking game. not to show off that much

I hate streetball. I LOVE traditional basketball, without those stupid flashy moves. It is simple, and you win games with it.

You know, years ago, the Globetrotters did halfcourt shots, got your pants down, played with the ref.

Now the "show" basketball is pretty aggressive. When they throw the ball at your face, shit like that. Like, the objective is to humble your opponents. It was much more humorous back then, like a family show.

Fuck AND1. And The Notic. And all of those assholes, go play some real basketball.
