Raptor News
The Raptors came away with an opening day win over the Rockets. They had clutch efforts from Raefer Alston and Jalen Rose.

In the 3rd quarter the game stayed close and Jalen Rose and MoPete found a rhythm, going into the fourth the Raptors had a one point lead. In the fourth the lead changed almost every possetion, but Rose and Alston were able to hit big shots and give Toronto an eight point lead. Both Rose and Jefferson went 8-8 from the line to shut the door on a Houston comeback.
