Year 1:
I didn't want to go overboard with the team so I was conservative in the beginning.
However I did make two trades.

No one took responsibility at my guard positions, and I felt I needed som assistance, therefore i traded Theron Smith and Jamal Sampson for Kenny Anderson with the Hawks...

And 4 the two spot I traded Bernard Robinson Kareem Rush for Bobby Simmons and Rick Brunson.

Then I couldn't get a maych to fill my center spot, but Jahidi White stepped up brilliantly and took the starting position from then on out...

So my lineup:
C- White
PF- Okafor
SF- Wallace
SG- Simmons
PG- Anderson

I finished last in the league but I could se a slimse of something good in this team... We went on to a 14-44 record and drafted Lorenzen Justice a.k.a The Law, a very versatile player at 6-3 199lbs, but he needs big help on his defensive assignments.

In the off-season I made one major move that would impact my whole dynasty. The Signing of Latrell Sprewell. But that's the summary of year one, any imputs, feel free to write. Year 2 coming up...

Year 2: Well, like I said the Spree signing would mean a whole lot to me and the team. He really needed a role-model and a professional whose been around the league, and Spree as we all know also posseses good scoring abilities which is another aspect we need to improve. So he is incredibly useful 4 us.

And to get a REAL PG I traded Jason Hart, Brevin Knight and Malik Allen for Rafer Alston, Morris Peterson.

I made one more trade pending the upcoming season, I traded Keith Bogans, Tamar Slay and Melvin Ely 4 Eddie Griffin and Fred Hoiberg from Minnesota... which also turned out to be incredibly valuable 4 us.

The Team year 2:
C-White 6:Peterson
PF-Okafor 7: Griffin
SF-Simmons 8: Lorenzen "The Law" Justice
SG-Sprewell
PG-Alston

That was my rotation... I finished the season 20-38... missed the playoffs but gained valuable regognition when the law took home rookie of the year and all rookie 1st, and Bobby Simmons took Most Improved player with a 22ppg season...
Well that's season 2... stay close for 3...

Now we've arrived at the third year:
This year was a real turning point for the 'Cats... In the offseason Bernie (Bickerstaff) couldn't just sit back and look away when Joe Johnson and Shareef Abdrur-Rahim were released by their current team (the hawks) and he signed them both to 5 year deals...

In a press conference that same evening Bickerstaff proclaimed sick of losing. "It's time for the Bobcat era to begin", Bernie said with the announcement of JJ and Reef to the press.

And indeed mr.Bickerstaff proved himself right, the Bobcats came out blazing with a 10-2 record... but then they showed signs of weakness with their small lineup of:

C-Okafor
PF-Abdur-Rahim
SF-Johnson
SG-Simmons
PG- odly enough Latrell Sprewell took charge in that position dishing out 7.4apg along with 15ppg...

Rotations included sharpshooter Eddie Griffin, big-man Haywood and The law who keeps improving to new heights all the time.

But the season got tougher do to the Suns style lineup... We were crushed in the paint from time to time, but we kept up good efforts anyway and finished 29-29... Probably the best record we could have hoped for because we made the playoff at seed no.7

Unfortunately we couldn't take out the Pistons in the first round though :(
But all in all, this season was wonderful! :D

I'm loving the reshaping. Great signings in yr three. A little surprised that you didn't end up doing better, though it might have been the lack of a point guard. I see your offseason move for year four....

All-in-all, really nice. Good development as a team. Nice nickname for Justice!

Yeah ok. Let's go... offseason to yr 4:
As a few people have pointed out, my team really lacked a real pointguard, but aswell one go-to guy. A superstar you might say. And what we did was this...

I was sad to see It had to come to this, but after only one yr as a 'Cat, I had to see Reef walk out. Aswell as my little lapdog since 4 years back, Bobby Simmons :P

I badly needed a PG and a go-to guy, so I traded Bobby Simmons, Jannero Pargo and Lonny Baxter for Dwayne Wade!
Now I had a PG and a superstar and go-to guy. And then I felt we lacked defensive pressure and size in the frontcourt, so to receive role-players to surround my new found superstar with.

And so I traded Reef, Ryan Jason Kapono and Brendan Haywood for Big Z, Samuel Dalembert and Greg Buckner.

I also signed besides rookies Serge Newbill and Chris Milacic, Dajuan Wagner, Steven Hunter and Travis Outlaw. I had to make this signings because of several players deciding they wanted out of the basketball scene... In a press-conference players Travis Best, Moochie Norris, Fred Hoiberg decided that their careers were coming to a stop.

And here I am now, with a record of 12-8 with the following lineup:

C-Zudrunas Illgauskas, in for experience even though outranked by Dalembert..

PF-Emeka Okafor

SF-Joe Johnson

SG-Latrell Sprewell still proves to be much to valuable to bench. :)

PG-Dwayne Wade

6-Samuek Dalembert
7-Lorenzen Justice
8-Eddie Griffin
9-Greg Buckner
10-DaJuan Wagner
11-Steven Hunter
12-Travis Outlaw

IR
Serge Newbill
Chris Milacic

I like what you've done with your team - I wouldn't expect Miami to give up Flash, but if you can get him, all the power to you.

No, I already got him... So I guess all the power to med then... :P
No seriously, The Heat signed Damon Studemire that offseason, I think that made the loss of Flash easier... And quite good 4 me too!

Not to solicit and post my stuff on your thread, but I'm looking for GMs and coaches for my dynasty and I'd really like it if you wanted in. Check it out - it should be hovering near the top of the forum right now.

But you've built a real powerhouse in a very short while - congrats on the success!
