So basically you want to run a simulation league. I am interested in joining Will this be running on a seperate free board or using this site? As Im the first to respond do I get first pick with teams? If so I'll take Lakers.

Actually mkballer, it was more for me not having to concern myself with the GM and coaching aspects of playing. Too often I find myself thiking what I want to do in 4 years in a dynasty. This way, people get some emotional involvement with my dynasty, I get to play, but everyone else controls what goes on with my roster, who to scout, who to sign, trade offers, even to how I play a game (uptempo, deciding minutes, subbing orders). As much as I like doing that, it does detract from the rest of the game. This way, people get to control a dynasty to some degree, get to find out how "their" dynasty is doing, and I get to play to win (perhaps the GM wants to waive me )

That's what I was going with this. Sorry if it was misleading.

I think what joeygraham means is that he will play the dynasty and 'everyone' controls that SINGLE dynasty (Coach, GM etc) which he is playing. For example, joeygraham might have the Bulls for a dynasty team and 'everyone' decides to trade Hinrich to the Magic for Francis. Joeygraham can't argue with this because he's only the 'players', not the coach etc.

Does anyone else think this is a sort of red? Oh well...yes, thank you Mick for clearing that up. Yes, it would be just the one team that I play with that you guys control. I guess I should probably put up a candidates list for each position, and I will do that at the top in an edit. First off we need a team. I guess I can give this, say a week, week and a half (it is a long weekend in canada so I will be away from my computer till tuesday) and at that time I will make formal hirings. And to Kobe101 (if that is your real name... ) yes, just tell me what you want to be and then how you want to run the show (i.e. GM ultimate youth movement though please try to make it semi-realistic else it is no fun to rape teams with LBJ, Wade and Nash all grouped together - which makes for an interesting proposition...start with a fantasy draft? Get the GMs in there right away....just a suggestion) and for coaching, I guess a style...defensive-minded/offensive, full court press, more points in the paint, or three-balling... I'm not really sure how to handle this, so we'll deal with problems as they come up...or I'll defer them to my GM (hehehehe). Oh, and please don't call me joeygraham, I think I made this right after reading the Raptors were going to sign him. I'm Aaron Fine. Nice to meet all y'all (no, not southern).


So to sum up, if you want a specific job (mainly the GM or coach, assistants are hired for wanting to be assistants) tell me how you want to run the show. I'm sure it will almost be afirst come, first serve basis, but I'd like to know we're thinking out there and that I'm not going to have to fire anyone...

As full-fledged members of this dynasty, you can post press releases, bios, anything you want and it is official. Just bear in mind I also will serve as owner, so if there are any, shall we say, Larry Brown-isms or turning the team into a group of deliquints, there could be complications.

We need a team! I'd like something that you guys find playable and fun with a nice present and future.

(and to gauge my playing abilities, I am currently 3-9 with the Magic on Superstar 5 min quarters. This might be a deterent, but I see this as a challenge to overcome.... )

Ah I understand now. Nice idea, I would like to help out as well maybe as coach because Im more of a hands on person

Thanks boshalladay...You have to be from Toronto, and thrilled bout the Leafs' season starting again.

I just wanted to say that if you want any info on rosters for any team/stats, just let me know if that helps. Also, I think Sac-1 does it in his dynasty thread (which I really like BTW - and for that, I put the Kings as one of the team options); he posts thumbnails of the pics. I was just wondering how I'd do that, otherwise if you guys want screenshots and info it might be too large

Oh, and my vote was for the T-Wolves you got a bunch of really unhappy players to move (GM) and great big men to run through or run too (coach). Oh, and someone called the Mayor (who might just be referred to as McCheese if it is selected...or traded to Washington and called the Senator for moving up....)
