Faster loading time

EA needs to develop something that will help keep the loading time shorter. I have to wait 2 to 3 minutes for my NBA Live 2003 to load up in 5on5 games. I even installed the game on a computer that is 2.2Ghz and it still took that much time for it to play.

that's kinda strange..i have heard a lot of people complain a/b loading times but mine loads quite quick..and my computer is not overly fast..athlon xp 1800+.
I remember when i first installed the game it WAS quite sluggish..and there was a LOT of reading on my hard drive during the player intros..but i think after i deleted my Nba live 2003 folder in My documents, it sped up considerably..
Anybody else try this?

And the game still works properly? I mean it's in that folder that the controller configuration, .dbf files etc. are placed.[/quote]

I can't stand the slow loading times...that has to change.
And why don't we have answers as to why some people get it and others don't?

I have a puny PIII running at 933MHz and load times are fine.

yup the game works fine..once you delete them the game automatically generates the folder again in My Documents and has all default settings again (obviously).
The only reason I can come up with as to why loading times are bad for some people is because of that custom art issue that has been well documented...that doesn't really explain why I experienced bad load times at first as well however.
On a side note, I like the way the EA Sports intro and also the game's intro were implemented in that I could just delete both files from the Movies subfolder and they don't play them.
sure speeds up the stupid wait time when I first start the game..now if only I could remove the stupid picture listing all the team's logos and then the Nba Live 2003 logo....any body know how?
