can't register

i got a used nba live 2005, but it won't let me register online to play. it keeps saying "unfortunately, your chosen name is already in our database" or something like that. i tried different names.

Well if someone else has registered with your serial code, then that might be the case. Try to get in contact with EA about it of that's how it is.

You could also try a bunch of weird names that noone could possibly have. 'asdljasgh341784kjs' for example...
