Transfer Created Player to Updated Roster Patch - How?

Quick question, how can I transfer a created player to a new roster update?

I'm getting bugged because with every new update I would have to re-create my player in order for him to play in games under that roster. Creating a true player takes a while, how can I avoid this?

i think you can do the following:

- in players.dbf and appearance.dbf, copy the values and attributes of your created player
- load the new roster update
- create a generic player
- exit the game
- in workingdb, find the player id for the created generic player in the players.dbf and replace all the generic player's values and attributes with the values of your created player
- in workingdb, find the id7 of the generic player in the appearance.dbf and update with the values for your created player
- save players.dbf and appearance.dbf to the roster update folder
- load game
- load roster update

but copying all the values manually to the new players.dbf
