Press Conference
"First of all I will present the reasons of firing our Gm Mike Woodson",club president Bernard J. Mullin said."Atlanta Hawks has a roster full of talent and desire to work.We want use that that desire and talent to create a team that will not be last positioned in the nba anymore. We can be better. The players and the board know that.Mike Woodson was an excellent GM.He is experienced and he has knowledge that all of the great GM's have. But i think he doesn't have the motivation to work with Atlanta Hawks anymore. We were looking for someone young and full of motivation. You press and the fans probably ask why to put totally unknown and unexperienced GM to work with a team.My answer is will to work and desire to succeed. That's why we hired Amarson to be our new GM.Our Expectations will be presented by our newest member of the board-Amarson."
Amarson:"I think that we can't rush ourselves with high expectations like getting to the playoffs or something like that.I know that all of the fans would to see Atlanta Hawks to compete for playoff spot or to get even higher. We have to work step by step.If you ask me I think that we don't have a team for playoffs, but we do have a team,to be close to that goal. But with new player at center position and maybe one or two more benchees we can be a playoff team.I say we give our team some time to get to know new players and me,and then we can set our expectations higher.Thank you for your cooperation.Goodbye"

Atlanta Hawks vs. Phoenix Suns
"If you ask me,this game will be a blow out.We will try to do anything in our power to keep the score close, but we will see what happens. This is our first real game and it's against one of the top contenders for the NBA title. We don't know each other yet, that's why this game will not show our real power. We have to keep close eye on the match up between Harrington and Marion",said Atlanta Hawks GM Amarson on the press conference held before the match with Phoenix Suns.

Atlanta Journal
Amarson Means Business!
There has been an exciting day for Atlanta Hawks on the transfer market.Their GM Amarson has brought two new players to Hawks. They made a trade with their next opponent Phoenix Suns. The trade will send Jason Collier And Josh Smith to Phoenix and in exchange Atlanta gets center Kurt Thomas.Next news is that free agent Bobby Simmons signed one year contract with Atlanta Hawks.Bobby Simmons is a replacement for departed Josh Smith. What is Amarson doing with those trades?Does he seriously want to bring last year's worst team to playoffs?Keep watching NBA league and you will see.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Seattle SuperSonics SuperSonics are better team with a 1-0 record so far. They have one of the most effective weapons in the league,Ray Allen. With the help of Rashard Lewis,SuperSonics become one of the most scoring teams in the league. We will have to play tough D and we certainly need a little bit of luck.Maybe we can pull off W here.

Atlanta Hawks (0-2) vs. LA Lakers (2-1)

In this game our main goal will be to closely guard Kobe Bryant. In my opinion he is the only scoring threat.Bryant's close guardian will be Josh Childress.Let's see if he can guard him.If we can pull that off, then we will win for sure,i think.
