Pro-Hop and "Power Dribble"

I read in the Prima guide about a 'power dribble'. I was thinking that they meant the Pro-Hop (using the Y button).

Is there a difference between a Pro-Hop and a power-dribble?

Pro hop is hwen the player is moving and does a litle jump stop, power dribble is the same button but this time the player is already stopped and does a pivit mover instead.
