Alright, I'm not sure if he's the only case like this, but being a Pacers fan I quickly noticed that David Harrison was listed as a free agent instead of being on the Pacers roster.

I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation for it, and there are probably other cases similar to this...but I had quickly noticed it and just thought I'd pass it along. Not a big deal or anything...like I said, you do a magnificent job.

Just noticed that the Sixers Head Coach wasn't updated, wanted to make sure you knew. Jim O Brien is out, Mo Cheeks is in.

Already knew about Mo Cheeks, but thanks again. Had a feeling I'd missed one.

I didn't change any of Gordon's ratings, may do so in future updates.

Roster space. NBA Live 2005 only supports a maximum of 15 players on a roster, so during the offseason I have to juggle players like that.

happen to saw 1 site saying Nate Robinson is gonna change his Jersey to #9 at preseason ...

According to New York Knicks officials, Stephon Marbury's No. 3 jersey is currently the team's best seller.

Come Christmas, it's a good bet that many Knicks fans, young and old, will be asking Santa to bring them a Nate Robinson No. 9 jersey.

The 5-foot-9-inch rookie point guard from Washington has yet to play a second in Madison Square Garden, but he's already a huge fan favorite after he dominated in the Vegas Summer League.

Robinson, who is wearing No. 4 this summer and will switch to No. 9 in the preseason, led the Knicks in scoring at 17.8 points per game as they concluded their Las Vegas run Wednesday with a 79-77 win over Chicago at Cox Pavilion.

Andrew wrote:That's what working 38 hours a week in tech support will do to you. ;) I do truly appreciate the interest, support and feedback I receive for the rosters, some folks do tend to get a bit impatient and pushy though. For the most part, it's all cool. (Y)

Only 38 hours? Here in America, we work 40 hours. You have nothing to complain about :P. Just kidding. Thanks again for the roster, but I lied. I'm back with more suggestions.

Gerald Green:
Definition of potential (except for a solid jumper).
FG to 70
Ball handling, dribbling down 10 pts (52, 55)
DReb to 45
Inside Scoring to 45
Hardiness down to 45, he hasn't proved anything yet

Marvin Williams:
FG to 72
Block to 50
OReb down 20 pts to 40
DReb down to 55 (he was at 70 originally, with Frye at 60, that's not right)
Quick up to 69
Hardiness to 55 (nly proven that he can stay healthy for one college season)
Range to 25

Sean May:
Range to 16

Ronny Turiaf:
Monster on the glass for Gonzaga.
OReb to 60.
DReb up 15 pts to 71.
DAware up 10 pts to 51.
3 pt to 0.

Matt Carroll is still MIA for the Bobcats. Very good shooter, everything else is okay at best. Played well in somewhat significant minutes at the end of last year, still on their SL team.

DJ Mbenga:
I don't know how well he will do in a real NBA game, but there are several facts about him: he's athletic, strong, long, and has nice hops. Shotblocker/rebounder type.
Jumping to 55

Jason Maxiell:
Despite his size, he's a nice shotblocker. Comparable to, ironically, Big Ben. Played significant minutes in college.
Blocking to 65
OReb to 52
Fatigue to 50

Mike Dunleavy, Jr.:
Ball handling up to 64
OAware to 76
DAware to 50
Speed, quick up 5 pts each
Fatigue to 65

Andris Biedrins, Zarko Cabarkapa, Joel Pryzbilla: I don't want to go around hyping these guys, but there is no way their overalls so should be so low. I usually don't care about overalls, but given their skill set, it should be at least a good 5 pts higher for both. Both are way ahead of Chris Taft, Andrew Bynum, and PJ Ramos, but the latter 3 are rated higher than Biedrins/Zarko/Joel. I've looked at their individual ratings quite a few times, but I don't know what to increase without making them inaccurate. So I'll give a profile of each and leave the hard part to you :D.
Biedrins - Very long, alters a lot of shots but doesn't block them all, hustles, great hands for rebounds and steals, very active on the boards, offense is all dunking, athletic, mobile, jump shot is lacking.
Zarko - Uncanny ability to handle the ball for a man his size, great driving the ball or spoting up and shooting, can do almost anything you want offensively, decent defender and rebounder, quick for his size.
Przybilla - Superb shotblocker, very good rebounder, garbage man around the basket, offensive game is limited, but pretty good defender. Mostly a great shotblocker and rebounder.

Luther Head 3 pt to 74, McCants FG to 76. Not inferior to Antoine Wright at shooting.

I'm thinking Hakim Warrick will be a 4/3. There is simply put, too much depth on the wings for Memphis for him to play at the 3. Battier/Posey at the 3, Miller/Jones at the 2 and that doesn't even include Emmett and Wells.

Danny Granger still needs slightly darker skin. Andrew Bynum needs much darker skin. Ditto to Jason Maxiell.

I don't know anything about dunk packages, but IMO, Nate Robinson should have a package that gives him dunks with more flair. I'm seen him put up some fancy dunks in college. And here's a couple sentences on what he did at the SL the other day:
DraftExpress wrote:The Nate Robison Show - Robinson continues to be just about the sole reason to keep watching these games. He knows how to get the crowd involved, and warmed the locals up last night with a little dunk show in warm-ups. It only got better once the game began, and his disgusting put-back dunk was all anybody wanted to talk about last night. He caught the ball at least a foot above the rim and brought the crowd to it’s feet, even though the basket was called off.

Yao Ming with 95 Hardiness and 83 Fatigue? Lower Hardiness to about 75 and Fatigue to around 40. He's only averaged 30 mpg in his entire career (doesn't help that he has to play for the Chinese national team every summer).

Several vets that are rated too high (heh, I'm too tired right now to look at the individual ratings):
Juwan Howard - still strong, but poor rebounder and defender, post game has been nonexistent for several years, injury problems, lost athleticism
Glenn Robinson - lost athleticism, injury problems too
Jonathan Bender - hardly a "vet" but anyways, kid is absolutely clueless on and off the court, he can only jump, dunk, and shoot; sucks at everything else
Devean George - I actually took a look at his ratings, but since I'm done modifying my own files, I won't give exact numbers. Lower steals, inside scoring, dribbling, strength, and hardiness. Wow, he was overrated badly.
Luke Walton - FG could use an increase, but decrease in steals, ball handling, strength, and hardiness.
Jerome Williams - Rebounder, garbage man only. Athletic, quick, good hops, but misses all sorts of layups and jump shots, average defender, poor shotblocker.
Chris Webber - Lost a lot of quickness and speed

Thanks for the latest corrections and suggestions. (Y)

Only one I'm not really sure about at this point is Yao Ming. I think 40 for Fatigue might be just a tad too low. He's also only missed 2 games in his first three years, so I don't think Hardiness should come down too much if at all.

You have a point, but big men, especially with such a height advantage, historically have injury problems. As for fatigue, he routinely has to come out of games because he's tired, but maybe 40 is too low. Not higher than 60 IMO. Your call though .

I think you've asked this before, my answer remains the same. I don't really want to update that until All-Star Weekend 2006, though by then I'll probably have handed the roster over to someone else.

FanOfAll: Around 60 sounds OK, I might leave the hardiness for the moment though (or only lower it a little, seeing as though he's remained healthy so far). (Y)

Sounds good.

Hakim Warrick needs to be much skinnier. Looks too big around the hips in the game.

Again, I don't boost ratings just to up the overall. However, I do think I could review Nocioni's ratings.

Thanks for the latest. (Y)

No, I haven't added any new legends. At the moment, I've just been concerned with getting an update out with out the Dynasty crash and updating rookie and player ratings. Perhaps in one of the offseason updates that comes at a time when there's a lull in the transactions.

i just played a game with v 1.15 with the heat. the play by play and pa announcers kept calling rasual butler 'brian cardinal' instead of 'rasual butler'. just thought i'd point it out.

two things i noticed with v 1.15:
-vlade divac is retired, not a free agent
-uros slokar fg should be about 5 points higher, he is a career .550 fg shooter

I'm already aware of the issue, as I said in the other thread I'm not sure why or how that happened but I'll look into it.

About Divac: I did intend to move him to team 38 so he wouldn't be in the active rosters, but then the report came out that his retirement announcement was false and he was still deciding his future, thus I've decided to wait until that situation is resolved.
