Crash before start of season

I started a dynasty and just before the first game it crashes and has 1 error message pop up, this one:


Then after i click OK on that this pops up:


After i click OK on this NBA live closes

Wat is wrong????

are u using the newest rosters 1.14?

Unfortunately v1.14 of the NBA Live 2005 roster update contains a problem that causes a crash in Dynasty Mode. I'm still trying to track down and fix the error, my time's a bit limited these days as I've just started a new job. I hope to have the error eliminated by version 1.15, which may not be out for a couple of weeks. My apologies for the problem and thanks for your understanding.

The new roster crashes without an error message (at least for most people), so it might be something you've done yourself. Have you modified any dbf files?

any update on version 1.15???

It will be finished when I can get it finished. Right now I can really only work on it at the weekend.

I get the same crash down. When I use the 1.15 roster, everything works perfectly. But I made a second roster, which is the same as Andrews 1.15 though with additional cyberfaces + portraits of the top ten draft picks (patch from NBALive.org). So basically, I implemented Andews 1.15 roster patch and NBALive.org's top ten rookie patch, and only Andrews original 1.15 works in dynasty and season mode.

Is there any way to get the other roster to work in dynasty/season as well? Or is it waaay complicated programming stuff?

If anyone was wondering, nbalive.org made a new patch with top twenty rookies. Included in the patch are step-by-step instructions how to make it work and the best part - it accomodates Andrew's 1.15, so no crash during dynasty!

I can finally start building on Chris Paul.
