DETROIT PISTONS ARE KINGS OF THE WORLD...AGAIN!!!

The Detroit Pistons did the expected, as they proved to be too strong for the glary-eyed Dallas Mavericks in 4 games, by 3-1. Detroit and Dallas held the 1st 3 games at home, and with the Mavs at home in Game 4, they needed a win to keep the series alive. However, the Pistons came in and dominated Game 4 on Dallas' homecourt to win the NBA title.

Congratulations, to the 2006/07 NBA Champion Detroit Pistons :applaud:

Joe Dumars is still looking good as the Pistons won their 2nd title in their 3rd NBA Finals appearance for the decade to date. With the team's youth and depth, there is no reason to believe that they can't win the next couple of championships as well. It was a Joe Dumars' trade in 2004 that brought the troubled Rasheed Wallace to the Pistons, and the move immediately resulted in the Pistons winning the 2004 NBA Championship. Now in 2007, Rasheed Wallace has put the team on his back in this series as he earns the 2007 NBA Finals MVP.

Well viewers, I finally moved my Bobcats to the NBA's 2nd season....let's hope 2007/08 can be even brighter....the SG spot is still the major issue in my team, but could Dwayne Wade fall into my lap?!? cheers for continued support guys....as always, comments and suggestions are welcome and encouraged....

anyways, final standings will be up in a few minutes and off-season coverage will follow, although don't expect it in the next week as I have to still do the rookie ratings :cry:

some people had Pistons rolling the Knicks, but no one could have foreseen the Mavs destroying the defending champion, San Antonio Spurs....therefore, standing didn't really change much in this round with Dweaver holding a 3pt lead going into the final round, and he seems to have it all wrapped up, thanks in big part, to ceekay's disappointing showing (0pts) in the past round....still other prizes up for grabs, so make sure to pick carefully....

oh yeah....Dweaver wins 3 year option of demand a trade....he can choose a destination and even proposition a trade, and if I deem it to be fair for both teams, then I'll put it through....and it doesn't have to be Dweaver being traded....maybe, Dweaver wants Q traded so Marion and Amare can play the forward positions and he can start....ceekay gets a 1 year trade request option where he can decide if he wants to be traded to a situation where he gets more minutes, a starting position or a winning situation or whatnot....and I'll find a destination....or I might move someone else in the starting lineup to open up playing time....

and because there were so many entries, I didn't expect that many, I'm adding a 3rd place prize, which goes to Sit....he will also earn a trade request option that must be used by the end of the off-season....it's similar to ceekay's one, but less time available, and I won't move anyone ahead of Sit in Orlando....he'll have to go elsewhere if he wants to use this exemption :wink:

You never know about Shaq. You were able to sign Pippen at the beginning of the 2005 season. Dwade would be good because he has a great all around game. It'll be hard to get him though. I don't know what you mean by NLSC name.

cheers....I think it's about just adding a SG, hopefully a big name one, drafting a solid rookie who can help in spots off the bench and keeping all the key components of the team together, and I'll be happy

I mean in Live 2005, In the 04-05 season, Scottie Pippen is a free agent. In mine, the Hornets signed him and he played another year. so, Shaq should bhe available as a free agent for 1 year. As for my name, Kitten is the online name I use but that was taken and since the pistons are one of my favorite teams, I picked KittenthePiston.

basically just a status bump just in case you guys were wondering what's going on....was real busy with gf and mates' bbq and stuff like that over the weekend....finally got around to starting to rate the rookies yesterday....I've rated like a 1/4 of them....will try and do some ratings tomorrow and Thursday nights, and should have ratings completed by the end of the weekend and hopefully get off-season done on Sunday or something and get updates going the next week....yep, it's taking time, but I've been really busy of late, but thanks for your patience guys :wink:
