Portland lose in close game

The Portland Trailblazers headed to Boston to verse the Celtics who are undefeated at 3-0.
The first quarter belonged to the Boston Celtics as they grabbed a 4 point lead at the end of the quarter. In the 2nd quarter, the Blazers came back and held the Celtics to only 9 points as they made a 6 point lead to end the half. The 3rd quarter was pretty much even with the Blazers holding a 4 point lead. The Celtics came back and took the game 73-71 in the final quarter.
Zach Randolph played execptionally well, only have 1 minute rest and producing 30 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks. Damon Stoudamire also scored 13 points and 7 assists.
For the Celtics, Antoine Walker managed 13 points with 5-20 shooting but grabbed 18 rebounds. Their scoring was evened out with Paul Pierce being the top scorer with 16 points.

Zach Randolph after the game, "I was disappointed with this loss, my supporting cast wasn't all that great. we play the Raptors again this Saturday, hopefully we can bounce back."
Antoine Walker after the game, "We kept the other team to a low score but we couldn't score ourselves, we have to work on that."
The Trailblazers head back home to play the Toronto Raptors this Saturday.
Portland Just hold on in Home victory

The Portland Trailblazers played their second home game this season against the Toronto Raptors. The Trailblazers were looking to bounce back after a heart breaking loss against the Celtics.
The first quarter belonged to the Trailblazers as they out scored the Raptors 38 to 19. The 2nd quarter was more even as the half finished with the Trailblazers up 60 to 39. The Raptors began to make a come back, out scoring the Trailblazers 30 to 19. The come back also continued in the 4th quarter but the Trailblazers managed to hold on to win 96-93.
Zach Randolph played well again, scoring 22 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Damon Stoudamire also played great, scoring 21 points and dishing out 8 assists in only 23 minutes of game time.
Rafer Alston scored the most for the Raptors, scoring 22 points. Chris Bosh scored 16 points and grabbed 11 boards.

Damon Stoudamire in the post game interview, "I believe i shot well tonight, only missing 5 shots out of 14 and scored 2-2 Free throws. We have a 4 day rest so we have time to rest and setup for the game against the Grizzlies at home."
Morris Peterson after the game, "We tried to make a comeback, but we weren't strong enough. The first half let us down."
The next game for the Portland Trailblazers is in 4 days on Wednesday at home against the Memphis Grizzlies.
After the game, the Doctors confirmed that Shareef Abdur-Rahim is on the mend and should be 100%. Shareef was placed back on the starting line-up ahead of Theo Ratliff.
