Andrew, it could be the overabundance of rookies. If you advance every one a year, the problem might get smashed.

In Madden, a similiar thing happens with an overabundance of created players. If you make the rookies actual rookies and everyone else advancing a year, then it should work.

It crashes for the Dynasty mode for me too. The first things I noticed was the skin tones. Deron Williams should be a little darker and I believe Bynum should be darker as well. Also, I really think Andrew Bogut is rated way too high. His athleticism ratings, IMHO, are just too generous for him.

Yes, but Milicic is bad now, in actual patches. In original NBA Live 2005 database have 51 and in NBA Live 2004, when he was draft are better. If in the future F. Vazquez is bad...he down in patches , but now i thing that 50 is a shit for the 11 pick.

I said it as a joke. The original poster made things out to be like the order you are drafted in declares how good your rating should be. Therefore, by his logic, Darko should have been rated higher than Dwyane Wade, Carmello Anthony, and Chris Bosh in their rookie year because Darko was drafted ahead of them.

rookies REALLY need adjusting. gerald green is NOT that good yet (69 overall rating?). and for marvin deserves 75 in dunks because i know he has at least one a game. his 3 point should be up to 50-ish, because scouts love his range. sean may has to get this stats up'd. a 60 overall is just not fair to arguably the 2nd best post player in the lottery.

measurement wise, only big differnce maker should be chris paul. 6'1 in the predraft measurements.

No way, Dalembert is 70 and no way should Bogut be higher than Daly. Bogut isn't a monster shot blocker; he can blocker shots, but doesn't do so like an Elton Brand.

Agree on the steal rating, but not the 3 pt shot. Probably around 70, but he's not a McCants/Webster/Salim S. Those guys are the best shooters.

I love Baron Davis but, EA original . He's a chucker and doesn't shoot at such a high percentage. Croshere needs a boost though.

Again, I must admit I haven't seen the ratings, but I don't think Salim's FG/3 pt ratings will ever need a change, unless he permanently injuries his shooting hand or elbow. I hate his attitude, but he's that great of a shooter.

You gotta fix Joey Graham's 3 pointer. 77 is too much for him. He only shot 26 for 55 behind the arc this season for OSU. maybe it should be like 50-55.

Also for Bogut, you can lower his 3 pointer a tad down like to 32.

For Green he should be a lower too. As for his dunk rating, rate him higher like into the 90s.

As for Von Wafer, i heard this kid was in the dunk competition but ill look into that and give u more info cause his rating for dunking is 30.

Jason Maxiell dunk should be higher cause he competed in the College dunk comp.

There are many DBF programs which let you change values such as Player Experince, Andrew wont have to do it manually player by player.

Ok, here's a couple changes that I'll suggest...

Nate Robinson - Dunk rating is only 10, he should be at least 70. Have you seen him Andrew, dude is very athletic and is a nice dunker.
Korolev - He won the under 18 euro dunk comp, so I'd say at least a 70 dunk rating for him
Joey Graham - As CB said, isn't a great shooter. Maybe change him to 55-60
Chris Paul - Isn't a good 3 point shooter either, shot a good percentage but mainly through open shots. 60-65 for him.
Rashad McCants - Has 72 for dribbling, when most scouts said that he needs to imrpove his dribbling a lot.
Stoudamire's 3 pt rating is fine, if anything it could be higher then lower.
Chris Andersen should definetely be at least 75 for blocking.
Baron Davis: The reason for his bad percentage, is because he takes so many under and most of them are under tremendous pressure. But you look at the shots he hits, and his percentage isn't all that bad. He should be at least 75 for 3's.
Sean May: Maybe consider his rebounding ratings higher
Ike Diogo: His inside scoring is only 50 (from memory...), why ? he is a great insider scorer and can also step out for the mid range jumper.
Antoine Wright: Three point rating lower...
Marvin Williams: 3 point up to around 58, he has a good shot. Dunk up to at least 75.
Jarret Jack: Lower 3 point rating to 60 or so, he isn't a great shooter at all.
Luther Head: He is only 6'3" not 6'6", and maybe increase his 3 pt rating to 75.

I'll try and list some more later, but again Andrew I know how hard it is to create 60 rookies perfectly (I did it myself in 2004). But hopefully you can get a lot of suggestions and we can get all the ratings perfect.

Davis chucks a lot. Those 10 3 PA games? A product of chucking. Sure, he does take a lot of 3s under pressure, but most of his 3s are quick/"bad" shots. But it's just something his coaches have to live with. He would have a much better percentage if he didn't put up so many 3s, but he does take a lot of 3s and that's just part of his percentage. A rating above 70 is good, but not above 75.

I disagree. Jack doesn't shoot the outside shot very often, which is probably why you think he isn't a great shooter, but he definitely makes the outside shots he takes. 64 is fair. Good suggestions, btw.
