Hello all. From reading most of the threads..i see alot of you play 2005 on PC. For me, i play it on PS2.....anyways here's my settings
Difficulty:Allstar
Sliders: Default
Schedule: NBA
Games: 82
Playoffs: Best of 7
Simulation Injuries:On
Simulation Type: Default
Sim Quarters: 12 mins
Regarding the difficulty...i don't know if difficulty is relatively different between PS2 and PC...but in Superstar level in PS2....every team u face will most likely beat u by 15 to 25 points..regardless of their default team rating. I've been playing LIVE for years...only on PS2..not PC...and for PS2..the Superstar level is not characterized as challenging...but unrealisticly difficult. On PS2...you can be so careful with ball handling and choosing the right open shot only so much..but for some reason they don't fall in most of the time. Comeback code in 05 for PS2 (can't speak for PC) is bs...which hopefully they'll fix in 06. I've noticed even the lowest rated PGs be making back-to-back 3 pointers...even double teamed...therefore i switched to Allstar.
Ok...enuff of the whining..here's my situation.....
This is my second time doing the 2004-2005..my first attempt i lost to the Grizzlies in 5 games in the Western Conference finals..i decided to do that season again and did some trades....
1. I traded Devean George to the Clippers for Marco Jaric
2. I traded Kareem Rush and Brian Cook to the Nuggets for Nene. For some reason Nuggets were highly interested in Rush. I had to put Cook in the deal to match salaries
3. I traded Chris Mihm to Warriors for Speedy Claxton.
