Another great mag (Y), I also like the shoes for Felton. Too bad you may be forced to trade one of your young PG's. It's a decision that you really don't want to make because they could be good together, but you may need to just give one guy enough room to improve which would force you into trading the other one.

Three Team Trade Goes Down

After Fridays game against the Hornets, Bucks managment announced
that Bobby Simmons and T.J. Ford had been traded to Philladelphia.
In turn the 76ers traded Willie Green and Samuel Dalembert to the Seatle Sonics,
who traded Ronald Murray and Nick Collison to the Bucks and Pops Mensa Bonsu to the 76ers.

Image
Murray brings explosive scoring the Bucks were looking for,
while Collison fill Smiths gap really nicely

The Bucks kill two birds with one stone here,
they find a home for Bobby Simmons to start in and T.J. Ford becomes
the number 1 guard option behind Allen Iverson.

No team seems to really lose out with the 76ers getting a young guard to rest AI,
or let AI shift to the off guard at times, Ford will be in a more secure role here.
They also get the SF they were looking for,
while Mashburn has made a comeback from injury he has not been the same as his younger years
and will perform better off the bench.
Mensu Bonsa wont see too much time but was included to keep the salaries matching.

Image
The 76ers filled a lot of wholes with this deal.

Seattle get the Center they long desired in Dalembert, hopfully he will perform well.
They did lose Murray who was a key off the bench,
but Green is a player who will fill the role just as well and brings some more height.

Image
Dalembert and Green have made the Sonics a more complete squad

All players will be avliable for their respective teams games on the 4th

Yeah Bobby aint being used enough to warant having him the bench, he doesnt come off the bench and score lots either.

Yeap Felton is starting to really find his rythym, hes got a good future wiht this franchise. Fords sorta the same player just hasnt perfomred nearly as well.

Thanks man. OH SHIT, forgot to give some big props to CK for the shoes, expect to see some more of his work soon (Y)

Yeah thats the reason for trading Ford, Felton has proved to be the better player and seems to have a bit of upside. Plus I feel Felton has a better shot to work with.

Recaps for the second week of December

December 4th: TORONTO 97 @ MILWAUKEE 108

Despite a 30 point effort from Mo-Pete the Buck took their 3rd win in a row.
With Simmons and Ford just traded, new team members Murray and Collison were a little shaky.
The bucks big scoring first quarter gave them a lead that they used as a buffer.
The Raptors did manage to close the gap on some occasions but the Bucks stayed calm.

Green, Mason and Reef all shot over 50% putting up 20, 24, and 22 respectively.
Felton had a strong game without Ford, with 17 to ago along with 7 boards and 8 assists.
Mo-Pete shot 11-24 on route to his 30 points, he also added 5 assists.

Image
Mason penertrated with ease all game, but always found someone waiting.

December 5th: HOUSTON 115 @ MILWAUKEE 116

An unlikely hero wins the game with an unlikely shot.

Eric strickland won this one for the Bucks with a lunging layup with 4.4 seconds left to win the game.

Image
Eric Strickland with the lunging game winner

For a game with such a high score the first 6minutes of play looked very slow.
The Rockets led 7-5 after 5 minutes due to some shockign offense form bothe teams.
The game picked up after that and the Bucks started to fire with Felton at the front.
The Bucks managed to scramble to a 23-22 lead after the first.
T-Mac lit the game up during the 2nd scoring all 23 of his first half points,
this resulted in the bucks being down by 12, 62-50 at the half.
T-Mac was scoreless for the second quarter this game but poor scrappy play
by the Bucks meant the Rockets still led 81-76 after 3.
D-Mase had a great 4th to bring the Bucks back into the lead but the Rockets
3 point shooting was on fire so the Bucks could never pull away,
Green hit a clutch 3 with 30 secs left to put the Bucks up by one,
but next possesion the Rockets used most of the shot clock to set T-Mac up for 2.
Then Strickland came in off a nice inbound pass to cut to the hoop and score.

D-Mase led the fourth quarter comeback, and had 27 points on 12-16 shooting.
Green had an off shooting game with only 10-24, but still managed 23 points and 6 steals.
T-Mac ended the night on 18-24 shooting to make 41 points.

Image
Felton made some big plays during the first quarter.

December 8th: MILWAUKEE 112 @ MIAMI 115

With Shaq injured the Bucks went to Miami expectign a decent chance at this game.
Hoever they go anything but easy in thier first match in tree days against the Heat.

The Jones brothers shot Milwaukee out of Miami, with help form their whole team.
The Bucks did put up a valiant effort mounting a second half comeback that never got there.

Eddie Jones had a huge night with 32 points 9 assists and 8 boards on 10-19 shooting.
Damon Jones had 24 points and 3 steals as well.
Wade didnt have a great scoring night but still had 16 points 10 boards and 8 assists.
Green had a great night with 30 points on 12-25 shooting as well as 9 assists.

Image
Wade didnt score much, but when he did it hurt.

December 10th: MIAMI 117 @ MILWAUKEE 121

The Bucks went back to Milwaukee wanting to get revenge for
the previous night.
Thats what they did.

An evenly matched first half set the scene for a second half showdown.
The third quarter remained fast with good shooting from both sides,
however it was some great D from the Bucks which gave them a 91-85 lead.
The Fourth saw the lead stay about the same and with 3 minutes left the Bucks looked comfortable.
The Heat picked it up here and played soem really smart ball,
doubling at the right times and forcing some key mistakes from the Bucks.
They didnt get the points they needed fast enough so had to start fouling.
The Heat managed to pull with Green missing 3 straight free throws on two trips to the line.
But it was Felton who remained calm and sunk 5 big freethrows in the final minute for the win.

Felton was the key for the Bucks with 21 points and 10 assists,
he shot a good 6-9 form the field and 9-11 from the line.
Green also had 21 to go with 9 assists and 7 boards.
Wade played great for the Heat with 24 points 13 boards and 7 assists.

Image
The Heat were gutted after working well in the 4th to lose anyway.

The Bucks had played well so far this month with a 4-1 record for December,
the next week is all away with the opponents not too tough, apart form Seattle.

Record at end of week: 11-10

Green is coming more and more consistent. I wouldn'tb e surprisedi f he could make the all-star team this year if he keeps putting up those type of numbers. Nice trade BTW

Yeah Im a fan of Flip, plus he was the type of player I was looking for, would be nice if he was a tad taller and could play SF as well, but no matter.

SbHzMaFiA© wrote:Green is coming more and more consistent. I wouldn'tb e surprisedi f he could make the all-star team this year if he keeps putting up those type of numbers. Nice trade BTW

Yeah Green is playing consistent, but its Mason and Reef who I would rather see in the ASG. Reef is still leading the team in scoring with over 20 a game, while Mason has been doing it all at the SF position.

On a side note I was thinking of switching Mason and Green, what do you think?? This season Mason has begun to develop a jumper so with some practice he cud be just as good a SG.

Thanks man, this dynasty has been fun and I hope it stays that way.

Recaps for third week of December

December 12th: MILWAUKEE 113 @ SEATLE 108

The Bucks gave the Sonics a lesson tonight, the fourth is where it counts.

Trailing for most of the game, the Bucks knuckled down in the 4th.
Outscoring the Sonics 31-23, the Bucks forced an OT period.
An injury to Ray Allen helped the Bucks, but it was their great shooting that was key.
Overtime was hard fought, but two clutch 3's from POG Felton gave the Bucks and edge.

Felton was the star of the game with 22 points 7 boards 14 assists and 6 steals,
he shot well going 8-10 from the feild and 2-2 from downtown.
Green was quiet for most the game but he lit up in the 4th to finish with 31 points.
Antonio Daniels was the key for the Sonics with 24 points 6 boards and 7 assists.

Image
Green was big during the 4th and OT

December 13th: MILWAUKEE 100 @ PORTLAND 90

The score doesnt really tell how close the game got.
The Bucks found themselves down by heaps (29-13) after the first quarter.
They managed to collect themselves and outscore the Blazers 29-19 in the 2nd.
Still trailing 48-42 at the start of the third, the bucks won the 3rd 27-17, behind some great bench play.
The Bucks lept out of the blocks in the 4th extending their lead by 10 but the Blazers fought back.
With 1:30 left and only up by 4 the Bucks bought in Strickland who hit a 3 immediately.
That almost sealed the game, but on the next possesion for the Bucks he hit another to really put the game away.
To put the nail in the coffin ES hit another wiht 5 seconds left to give the final score.

Desmond Mason ran circles round the Blazers scoring 23 points 7 boards and 6 asssists,
while shooting 9-13 and 3-4 from downtown.
Collison had a good game with 16 points and 6 boards on 8-12 shooting in 21 minutes.
The Blazers had a balanced attack with Deron Williams (18) leading 5 players in double figures.

Image
D-Mase owned the Blazers in all facets of the game.

December 17th: MILWAUKEE 88 @ CLEVELAND 115

The Bucks never led in a game where they were blwon out by 27 points.

With Guards Green and Felton totally dominated by King James and McInnis from the start,
the Bucks couldnt find any fluid offense.
This game was a throwaway from the end of the second so the teams tried out different plays etc.

Wilcox was the best for the Bucks with 17 points and 15 rebounds.
LeBron had 22 points and 7 boards shooting 75% from the field.

"Our young guards were dominated by the more experienced pair in the Cavs.
This was a risk we took when putting the reigns of our backcourt in the hands of rookies,
however they have played great so far this season, and they have to learn from thier defeats."
- Coach Terry Porter after the game.

Record at end of week: 13-11
