Doesn't help that Pop decides to stop coaching at Halftime by losing faith and telling the players to figure it out. I mean yea, from the bench Pop can't control the turnover situation, probably the main focus of today's practice and tommorrow.

I admit, the way neither team seems to play well when the other does, I am just a spectator. I still think S.A. will win one in Auburn Hill but they need to address their hearts and get back to playing D first. This flip flop of character for both teams is annoying because S.A. is playing very uncharacteristic even for them having a bad game. They usually respond well so I expect to see a better performance on Sunday or perhap Detroit will repeat, YUCK.

I was not expecting Detroit to pull off this win before the game..just shows that anything is possible. I'm still sticking with Duncan and co. to win the series and put Detroit in it's place

It's not that shocking...remember the Spurs dominated 2 games to the Sonics before letting them tie the series up...And the sonics were missing both Rashard Lewis and Vlade, which probably makes them the equivalent of University of Illinois in manpower.

Spurs have that weirdness were some days they just don't feel like playing.

I don't. In long series, having games 6 and 7 at home is HUUGE!!! Those are the two most important games in a championship series and I think in a very close series with two evenly matched team, the home team has the best chance with both of those two crucial games at home.

With two evenly matched teams in a close series, game 5 is the most crucial game, as it swings the momentum in the favor of whoever takes the 3-2 lead. Isn't it like 84% of game 5 winners go on to win the series? No matter what, I think whoever wins game 5 on Sunday will take home the championship. As good as the Pistons are with their backs against the wall, if they lose game 5, I really don't think they have a chance to take 2 straight in San Antonio. If Detroit wins on Sunday, I don't see them giving up two losses in San Antonio though, as they are a VERY good team when it comes to closing out a series.

Yeah but when you have 3 consecutive home games its deffinately an advantage. Look at Detroit and how they're playing at home. I understand many might disagree but look at it as a Detroit Piston fan. You have 3 consecutive games at home to come up 3 games. And the percentage of teams that win at home, let ahold Detroit is VERY high.

the 2-3-2 does favour the away team. when you have 2 home games if you slip up once your on the road for the next 3, that's tough.

True, but if Detroit pulls off a third win at home, they're riding on momentum, and as being a good road team, they may even pull one of two in San Antonio - which gives them the championship.

Wow... a spectacular game played by both teams. Horry came up huge in the end and made the final play that got me jumping for joy. Is it too soon to say-"riverwalk parade"?

oh man Robert Horry just did it again can't believe this....Detroit should of won this. Now they need 2 games on the road, which im confident they can pull out.

the tricky thing here is determining MVP....no one has been consistent....perhaps Billups will be after the performance in this game. We'll see what happens in Game 6.

Tim Duncan was dissapointing however.. if he made just 1 more free throw.. if he DUNKED THE DAMN BALL instead of trying to tip it back in.. both Wallaces were over with Ginobili, if he just went STRONG FOR ONCE.. be AGGRESSIVE... be SHAQ....

he went 5-6 from 3s and ya, that dunk over hamilton (which was an offensive foul though) was awesome. He extended his left arm way out and got an extra point from the foul line.
