I'm not aware of anything that can be done to change it either. Hopefully future versions of the game will offer flexibility in the duration of Dynasty Mode games.

like anyone would get thru that many seasons anyway! especially with the same team!

You could always simulate 3/4 of the season,if it appears to be too long,so why not.

after 25 years or even 20 years, all real NBA players will not be there and your dynasty will composed of generated players, no more fun in playing with it....
But if you want, you can play with all these generated players....
Here it goes...
At the start of your 25th dynasty years, save it (YOUR DYNASTY) dynasty).... then start a new dynasty and save it (NEW DYNASTY)... then copy all files except the 3 dat files. Load the NEW DYANSTY, it will start at season 2004 but your playing with players from your old dynasty.
But if you want, you can play with all these generated players....
