We can use this topic to talk about it.

I was just trying to listen to it on MSN homepage, and I was going to make a topic about it too.

I think he is going to be guilty, but I'm hoping he is not guilty because most of those parents are just trying to get money off him and they probably really didn't care if he fucked their kids or not  They just want his money basically.

This Is A MNN Special Report
Michael Jackson found Not Guilty on all 10 Felony charges against him, and Innocent on all minor charges against him.

Jesus, how does this happen?
Found innocent on ALL 10 charges!

Now what kind of example does this set for all other child molestors?

yeah I know, thats what I said.
not even on the giving an intoxicating beverage to someone under 21.
I AT LEAST thought he would be convicted of that, since people that clean his house said there was stuff there, and the kids admited it.

The trial was sparked after British journalist Martin Bashir made a documentary in which Jackson admitted sharing his bed with children.

Holy cow.. innocent on all 10 charges???? For one, I didnt wanna see him put behind bars but i expected it to happen. This is real weird. I guess because of double jeopardy he wont be able to be taken back to court for the charges... and the prosecution lost BIG time

Welcome to the world of practiced law, kids...

There really is no law or justice in truth... In the end, all it comes down to is a big game, with some basic rules written down and each side trying to manipulate them for their own ends...

But there really is no better way to achive any semblance of social harmony, so we stick by it, although many people stil; call us a-moral and devil's advocates...

As for MJ, don't believe all the hype in the media about what he did, did not, tried to do, possibly did, and so on... The media is a powerful tool than can enforce public opinion in various ways... just accept the verdict and move on, is waht I always say...

I did feel the guy's innocent, but wow, didn't actually think he'd avoid all ten charges. He must've had some awesome lawyers. Was the OJ Simpson lawyer on MJ's side?

The only reason he was found not guilty is because the acuser and his family weren't all too reliable. They've had other civil suits and what not, secondly a lot of the testomonies (both from the acuser & the family) contradicted eachother.

All in all, the jury couldn't be sure based on what they saw and heard. Mind you, these jurors have kids of their own. The jury consisted of 4 men & like 7 women orso. I still think Jackson's a perve but until there is enough evidence against him, my opinion is worth shit.

Serious? I could've sworn I saw on the Daily Show that Jackson was thinking of switching up to OJ's lawyer.

Well, he does sleep with children, and that might make him enough of a perv, unless it's natural for full grown men to sleep with children not belonging to him. :?

Normal in his world, wonderland or funland, whatever that place is called.

That's just not right, after this whole ordeal, I'd hope he got enough sense to stop sleeping in beds with kids. Let them visit, all nice & well and then send them home.
The parents are morons too, I'd never let my kids (not that I'll have any, pesky little bastards) sleep with a man that white. It's just not done, especially not after he went from black to white. And that white.

Nah, on a more serious note, I wouldn't let my kids sleep with any adult, not even if he was Michael Jackson. Nah-ah, no way Jose. :x

Although I agree that he's a pedophile, you have to admit that a kid confessing 2 (I think) years later that MJ mollested him when he was talking and laughing during the doumentary with Michael is pretty fishy. I'm guessing that's what it was, he could have done it but there was a reasonable doubt to think he might not have.

HA i knew he was gonna be innocent. There is no way no matter what he did, that a guy thats so famous and so well known like him would go to jail. It's basically the same thing for Kobe. Expect that from anybody thats worth a WHOLE lot of money and is very popular.

I probably didn't phrase it right, didn't put much thought into it... just tried to make it short. But basically, what I wanted to say was that my belief in MJ's innocence is not influenced by the jury's verdict. I believed he was innocent all throughout the case.

Oh, I get it. You thought he was innocent all along, and you still do is what your saying.
Got it

Yeah, like IronMan, I thought he was innocent all throughout the case, but still a perv. Like Jackal said, the parents must be morons to let the kids sleep with Michael Jackson. Guess they thought they'd get easy money (N)

On a side note, did anyone see the South Park episode with Johnny Cochrane in it? Hilarious stuff, with the Chewbacca defense, here's a transcript: http://wiki.yak.net/424

"It does not make sense. If Chewbacca does not make sense, you must acquit!"

"This... is Chewbacca. Now Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. Why would a Wookiee... an eight foot tall Wookiee... want to live on Endor with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense!"
Yeah, I've seen it a couple of times. :)

and the part where he pulls out the monkey and a guys head explodes is just priceless

I couldn't care less about the verdict.
KIDS (including me), ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IS THIS:

If you ever hear 'Michael Jackson is coming to your town!' run like you have a ravenous dog biting at your ass, because if you don't then it won't be the dog that's biting at your ass.

There is no truth. There is only you and what you make the truth.
