On Ray Allen

Mon Mar 03, 2003 12:00 am

Ok has anyone else noticed how good he has been since the trade???

I mean in debut he was 1 assist away from a triple-double then he got one against the lakers in there 107-90 win and today had 40[nts and the sonics yet again cruised to another victory??

can we now say he is a top 5 SG in the league, something that has had us all discussing about at times??

from what i've seen he could be and if he had played like this for the bucks, could've been a possible MVP candidate, for leadign a team and displaying nice statistics??

whats do yous think??

Yeah.. Sonics got a real good trade. I haven't seen this whole Payton-Cassell duo in real action :| I guess Ray Allen was the key to the Bucks success this whole time.

i was shocked when the trade happened, now the sonics are a new team. brent barry is playing well at the point and they have yet to get the " big easy " into the mix. good trade :!:

he's probably the same player except the trade woke him up a bit,

and he's probably also allowed to control the ball more in seattle (though i havent watched him in game there yet) i woulf presume than he did in say, miluwakee where cassell ran the O.

it's too early to say...wait untill the season's over

I'd say he's the same player he was in Milwaukee, his improvement is just an illusion - different system, different role, different opportunities. Either that or he just didn't feel like playing to the best of his ability for George Karl.
