:applaud: :applaud: I really love the Reggie tribute, very well done. I would do the creative caption but DWeaver took the words right out of my mouth.

Nice dynasty

Eastern Finals Rematch Turn Out Crazy

Redd & LaFrentz combine for 37 FT attempts to win game
Boxscore

Highly anticipated Eastern Finals rematch turned out to be a very unusual game. Detroit came out strong in the opening quarter with Chauncey 'Big Shot' Billups hitting consecutive threes, he led Pistons with 26. As previewed, Prince and Artest should definately be playing each other well...But no, Prince defended Artest well, limiting him to just 2 points on 0-of-5 shooting. And shaking off Artest's trademark D and had 25 points.

Pacers kept up, when the starters were struggling, they had Miller, Jackson and Foster to help. They combined for 23 points and helped Pacers take the lead at half time. It was fan's favorite end-to-end action!

After half time, the game went crazy. Darko 'Bust' Milicic was down there playing, LaFrentz took advantage, drew fouls...about 10 fouls on everybody. When Redd saw that, he did that too. Chants started, "Lame Redd! Lame Redd!"

"That was plain stupid, what's wrong with our forwards? Just put a hand in their face... No need to jump on every shot!" said Larry Brown. "Well, I didn't know LaFrentz was that typa guy! He shot 6-of-22, but hell...20 free throws! Lame way to draw fouls.."

Detroit at the end played with a little anger...and maybe forgotten about time. Game ended with Rip still running around the court and Billups still trying to pass him the ball.

"Lame ball, y'know... People said our defense was too rough, we say that their offense is plain lame..." said Rasheed Wallace who had only 5 points on 1-of-1 shooting.

"Well, I've scheduled a 1-on-1 with Rasheed... I think it's tomorrow, sir!" mentioned LaFrentz at the media conference.

Expect .org based sports channel to broadcast this match. Stay tuned.

Lafrentz 20-20 FT  Now when you can get 20 points just from the line by itself, that's dominance  Good job on the recap

Denver Preview

Image
Probable Starters
C: Marcus Camby
PF: Kenyon Martin
SF: Carmelo 'No D' Anthony
SG: DerMarr Johnson/Earl Boykins
PG: Andre Miller

How's the team doing

Denver Nuggets are now on a 3 game skid, George Karl recently took over the team and showed no sign on improvement. Sophomore Carmelo Anthony is becoming a Glenn Robinson? He plays no defense at all. Expect a blow out game. Unless the score is close at the half, it's a sure win.

Key Matchups:

Carmelo Anthony <-> Ron Artest. We'll see if Melo can overcome Ron's tough defense.
Kenyon Martin <-> Jermaine O'Neal.
Other than that, we're on the upside.

It is good to see that you are finally here Cloudy, I was wondering when you would move your dynasty here. I think your dynasty is really good and it should get some pub that it never got in .org (Y)

Pacers Win Big

Indiana Bench Outscores Denver's 34-20
Boxscore

Image
Indiana Pacers outscored the Denver Nuggets in every quarter and Nuggets never pulled close. An embarrassing 42-point loss might decide whether Denver should keep 'Melo the no D. Carmelo Anthony who was guarded by Ron Artest couldn't manage to score, limited to just 6 points. While Ron himself outscored him with 11 points plus 5 assists and 2 steals. Pacers showed no mercy, and Coach Rick allowed his deep bench to take over. Stephen Jackson and Reggie Miller came off the bench to score 8 and 7, respectively. But with 5:38 left in the third quarter, Anthony injured Jackson's private part on a layup. A technical was called, and Jackson had to leave early for good.

"I really didn't mean it, man... Sorry, I was just playing around, don't feel like playing."

Indiana bench combined for 34 points which is a key part to tonight's win. LaFrentz who will face Rasheed Wallace tomorrow morning in a 1-on-1 match added 13 points and shot 75% behind the arc.

"Well, it's one of those games when no one wants to play," said Anthony, "I didn't feel like playing tonight, I was trying at all." All Carmelo did tonight was whining. "You know, when a star says he doesn't want to play, what can I do? He ain't play any defense at all, and his 'I don't wanna play' is really letting the team down." said Kenyon Martin who had a team-high 16 points.

"We did a really great job tonight, Coach Rick played the bench a lot... and we prove to others how deep our bench is." Jermaine O'Neal who had an impressive effort with 22 points in just 17 minutes.

Note: Tomorrow morning LaFrentz will play against Detroit's Rasheed Wallace in a 1-on-1 game in Duke's stadium. Tickets are 1 dollar each, first come first serve.

LaFrentz Wins!

Last week when Indiana won at Detroit, Rasheed complained about LaFrent's lame foul drawing. He dared him to play a 1-on-1 game with him. The day came, when two forwards prove their skills to everybody. The game was rough, very rough... Raef played superb defense and made Wallace work for his every shot. Both showed their dribbling skills that were never seen before in game. Rasheed kept shooting mid-range jumpers that aren't dropping, so he made use of his strength and hooked all the gay shots in. After that, Wallace kept trash talking about LaFrentz skin and hair... It made LaFrentz so damn mad, he slapped Wallace and ran to the left wing and shot the fade away three pointer that won the game.

"The fu*king white man keeps hitting annoying and lucky shots! I can't stand it, we'll meet again in the Finals... But will he even get there?" said Wallace after the game. "Well, he's a damn black man that talks like chicken, he talks about everything, he cursed my family, my skin, my hair! What's so gay about my hair... Anyway, I won the game easily. I gave the ball a nice touch and shot it. Oh by the way, I didn't really meant to slap him. Sorry."
