I'm starting to think I shouldn't use the 1-2-1-1. I haven't had a close game since I started using it. Perhaps I should change the sliders for my steals........I have steals at 22 and interceptions at 17.......what do you guys think?

Yeah, that's too outrageous for just 5 minute quarters.

I lowered steals to 11 and interceptions to 9. Also I lowered User Double Team Effectiveness from 55-45. I had to play the Bulls again and I saw more realistic steals but still had 10 steals and the Bulls turned it over 15 times. It was much more realistic though with the Bucks winning 63 to 50.

I'm going to go with steals at 5 and interceptions at 4. I will leave double team because I believe that is realistic right now.

Alright, changed the sliders and still managed to kill the Rockets. I had 4 steals in the first half. I changed the steal and interception to 0 both at the half. I got 7 steals in the second half! Anyway, not much i can do about that. I upped the computers freestyle ability and lowered some of my defensive sliders. Also, in hopes that I might be able to create a more realistic shooting percentage for my guys I gave the computer higher defensive abilities with the sliders.

Hopefully we'll see a difference in the next couple of games.

Bucks 20-4 and I'm trying to get it to the point where i can run this press and still get realistic numbers. I'll get another one in tonight to see if the slider changes help (Y)

I'm pretty sure I got what I was looking for with the sliders. Beat the lowly Magic by about 13 and then Houston took me to over time and eventually beat me 62-56. I like the sliders and the way they are making it tougher and more realistic. Against the Rockets I shot 44%. My high scorer had 14 points I think.

Now that I think I have the sliders figured out I'll get back to the updates with "graphics". Bucks are 21-5.

Cool paper. (Y)

 at Kobe's quote.

Why don't you just play 12 minute quarters, but with intervention?

I kind of like playing the entire game. I enjoy these 20 minute games cuz obviously I can get more done in a day. More games equals more updates for the forum, which I also enjoy :)

I'm already starting to think about the draft. I want to have some custom names and faces but I'm not exactly sure how to make all that work. I have lots of experience with dbf editing and I also can handle the art part of it.

I do not want the real rookie class, but rather I would like to create some of my own guys to be drafted. Can anyone point me toward a good explanation of how to achieve this and keep my dynasty stable?

This dynasty is real good. A lot of trades, but hey, whatever tickles your fancy. Good to see that you're getting off to a really nice start, but I don't like the fact that the Raptors aren't doing too well. :P
