Cannot start NBA LIve 2005

I have just installed NBA Live 2005 and when I go to start it I get the error:
"NBA Live 2005 has encountered a problem and needs to close" blah blah

I have installed the game on my friends Laptop and it works fine, so obviously something with my machine, but not sure what?? Can anyone advise?

My system specs are:
Intel Celeron 2.4ghz
512 mb ram
80gb hdd
Nvidia riva tnt2 model 64 (32mb) graphics card

I have updated the video card drivers (although maybe it is not a good enough card still?), reinstalled and as i said it works on my friends laptop???? any help much appreciated

Get a new graphic card. I'm don't think that Riva TNT2 is supported.

indeed, you're graph.card is way to old to run the game
