Yao Ming's bicycle

West U. Cycles, Inc., owner Jeff Nielsen (5'8") presents Houston Rockets center Yao Ming (7'6") with a custom-made Gunnar Rockhound 29" wheeled mountain bike Friday morning, Feb. 25, 2005, in the Toyota Center training room in Houston. Rockets players and staff bought Yao Ming his former form of transportation for a Lunar New Year gift. Yao Ming went on to joke that he would put his car up for auction on eBay.

This frame, built with custom True Temper OX Platinum tubing, not only has 29" wheels but is actually a 29" mountain bike - possibly the largest ever built! Thanks also go to Vicious Cycles of New York for building a similarly ambitious front fork.

Story
That is one big bike!

lol, this is really weird, normally when someone from normal height is on a poc with Yao, Yao just looks huge and the other people look normal.
But this time that other dude looks like a midget (complete with wrong body proportions too  ) probably because the bike is Yao's size and it's almost as big as the dude.

Mazzochi, your threads are terrible. It's just incoherent crap, and I hope you just dig a hole and go away.

On a side note, your threads are pretty funny.

I think I got 98 after 98 though so I'm not sure... I did stop posting for about a year and a half while I was in England too. Either way, in the years I was posting on the old forums I never got anywhere near 5,000 posts.

Yeah I went there for 2 years. It's colder, the people are friendlier and the whole landscape is entirely different... I actually prefer it to be honest, I'd go back there if I had the chance.

Hehe, I kinda agree with Dahl on the mazz threads but this one was pretty entertaining though.

The bike looks kinda weird with the two crossing frames, but I guess it's needed. However it looks as they did forgett to make the saddle bigger
A 7'6, 310lbs heavy guy have a bigger ass than us 'average built' people if I'm not mistaken.
Cool bike though, with the discbrakes and all (y)
