The stage is being set by the NBA... Reggie will shoot the last shot in Game 7 of the series... its do or die!

And i never said if he will hit it or miss it!

He'll hit it... admittedly he'll probably go 1-11 in that game like he tends to do more often than not these days, but he'll make that shot if it happens.

what i see as the NBA's new conspiracy.. to make up for Artest's absence they want a 7 games series.. .to make profit and then will allow the Pacers throught to the ECF in expense of the defending champs...

did i say.. more money?

Jumping back a little, I found David Stern's comments during the Game 3 broadcast on ESPN somewhat interesting. He admitted that not much consideration was given to allowing Artest to return and stated that the suspension was for the whole season including the playoffs.

I suppose he's not wrong or going back on his word per se, but when the suspensions were announced I'm sure it was at least suggested he might be allowed back for the playoffs. Anyway, as I'm sure Indy will point out the fact of the matter is that Ron Artest won't be participating in the playoffs and the Pacers will just have to make do without him.

assuming it goes to 7. At 2-2, this is the business end of the tie....and i think that Pistons will take the next 2. They should win at home and thus put themselves in a position to clinch the tie @Indy. Last year though against the Nets the pistons were down 3-2 after blowing that home game in dbl or tpl OT but then they came out all-out to win the next two.

That wouldn't be fair. Think of the first seed team in the East, in a fictional setting in 96, when Jordan was in Artest's place. How would that team feel if Jordan was reinstated and eligible to play for the 8th seeded Bulls? :wink:

it was triple OT, i was at that game - one of the most memorable experiences of my life

but yeah, as soon as the pacers took a 2-1 lead, i've been saying the winner of game 4 will take the series (i wonder what the statistic for this situation is.. history has got to be on the pistons' side here)

i also agree that the pistons should take the next two. game five is at home and should be a cakewalk (well, maybe not that easy.. but it should end up a W) and with a 3-2 lead, i can't see them missing the opportunity to send home their newest and biggest rival team.

Don't question my devotion because of where i live. Im basing my life around this team.

. well not really.. it was just coincidence...

driving 200 miles 20x a year to see the actual game is lot better then trying to break down box scores to try and find out what happened (Y)

Eventually, when you have to play against so much adversity all year, you run out of gas.

We are toast no doubt about it. Be sure to tune in for Game 6 in what will most likely be Reggies last game ever, and almost certainly his last home game ever. I just hope he gives us a couple shots to remember, and then just like that, his career and Ron Artest's suspension would be over.

When we have Ron back next year, we will be a top 3 team to win it all, especially since we will be 100% healthy (barring any unforseen injuries).

dont count on it, Pacers are always injured, it's like the seasons theres nothing you can do to stop it.

like i said, Pistons would go up 3-2 and now have a chance to clinch it, which i think they will.

I could never give up on the Pacers, but I have to be honest, we are going to lose this series barring a time machine bring Reggie back from the early 90s.

Too bad.. Pacers just don't have enough of both offensive and defensive weapon..
Next year when Ron comes back, Miller will not be there anymore.
Hopefully someone else can fill in the spot.
Meanwhile, it'll be a miracle for Pacers to get a win next game cuz Pistons is eager to win and move on to next round.
And i don't see the Pacers' revenge.
Don't they remember what happened last year which caused them a big losses of players?
