Amare is on fire, I believe it said 7/8 from the line, 15 points, 3 boards. Already took Dampier out of the game. :D

Suns win rather convincingly, 127-102. Amare top scored with 40 points, his 16 boards were also a game high.

At least a good sign for Dallas is that Nowitzki was back to his old self... Amare won't play like that every game (possibly).

It's too difficult to stop Sun's Rush.
Maybe only Spurs or Detroit can do that.

damn Suns are 5-0 so far. They are unstoppable. I can't wait to see them against the Spurs. The combo of Nash, Amare, and Marion are just too much. Amare if the perfect combination of C/PF. Maybe he's not a defensive beast like Ben Wallace but he makes it up with all this offensive game. He's too fast and strong for some Centers.

 Dampier was a defensive liability. The guy doesn't know how to play the pick and roll, and he was a non-factor offensively. That was funny when Doug Collins got so frustrated that he was popping out on the screen instead of rolling to the basket.

Poor Dampier, the guy must've felt like an idiot. You also know Barbosa was on the bench saying please let us hold the big lead so I canget to play. Amare was a beast, but no less was expected, he's owned Dallas all year, who can guard him on that team? How good is Joe Johnson? I remember the last few months of last season, he had confidence like this, I think he was averaging 6 assists or so in the last month too, pretty good stuff, this will definately be interesting.

I loved when Avery went crazy and got ejected. While he was leaving, he went to the other ref too and started screaming at him also

The game was fun to watch, but actually got a little boring in the second half when the Suns were just making the Mavs look bad.

Man, I felt bad for Dampier. Nowitzki was screaming at him in the middle of an inbounds play, and it was funny how Dampier ignored him. He got raped big time by Stoudemire. Man, Dampier looked awful out there.

If the Suns have confidence, they'll just keep shooting and shooting, and they'll keep outscoring their opponments. Nash showed why he was MVP with some amazing court vision and passes for wide open guys to extend the lead.

Hehe, man, Avery capped that string of expletives with one huge one at the end. I'm a good lip reader, so it was amusing to see Avery clearly mouthing those very kind words to the ref :D

Suns run even on made baskets...actually they start running before the shot even goes up. You can't control another team's tempo if they basically ignore what's going on and just start running upcourt regardless, which is exactly what they do.

To stop them, you need to stop Quentin, Stoudamire, and Marion from getting any defensive rebounds which triggers the outlet pass.

All i can say is, have a fun time stopping this:

Man, that game was fun to watch, that's all I got to say. (Y) The Suns are definitely one of the most fun to watch teams I've seen in years.

who's the oldest sun player? jim jackson?
with youth really comes athletism and high adrenaline rush.......the suns first 5 can play 51 minutes each.....D'antoni is the man..he really knows what he wants the team's identity.....unlike AJ.he just happened to have a lot of talented players around him.

I feel sorry for the Mavs, but lets how how the Suns handle themselves on the road.

Perhaps they'll handle themselves like they have all year and play better on the road. It's not a worry of mine.

good for dirk for calling out dampier. dampier needs to start delivering.. he's looking even worse then marbury did when he made those comments about being the best at his position. at least marbs had the sack to say he's best, dampier would only go as far as to say he's the 2nd best.

Dampier called Dirk stupid for making the comments because he said that the whole tema didn't play well really. I hope there isn't no drama going on in the locker room now, but Dirk has the right to speak because he is one of the leaders on the team and when a player isn't playing right, he needs to get on him along with his other teammates.

"He can say what he wants," Dampier said. "We really didn't get a lot from anyone. This is not a one individual game. It's a team concept. We didn't play the way we are capable of playing, so for him to say something like that is totally stupid."

Oooh, Dampier's screwed now. I disagree with him. I've seen the game, and he made a lot of huge mistakes and fouls that really gave the momentum away to the Suns.

What did Dirk say anyway?

Looks like Jae and me finally agree on something...

Go Mavs!!!

EDIT: This is interesting...

The Suns lost Joe Johnson with 19.7 seconds left in the first half when he was fouled by Jerry Stackhouse on a layup, lost his balance and fell face-first to the floor. He was admitted to a local hospital, and late Wednesday night it was announced he would undergo surgery Thursday to repair a displaced orbital bone. He also suffered a mild concussion. Johnson will miss at least Game 3 on Friday night and, with the surgery, probably will be out longer.

Richardson is a idiot. He pump faked a 3, got his defender FLYING at him yet he just dribbled, move away and shot a 3.. instead of drawing a foul and getting 3 free throws.. only needing 2 of them to tie..

Oh well, impressive comeback game for Dampier from a no man to something (Y)

Joe Johnson is gone for at least two games :x

ESPN wrote:PHOENIX -- Phoenix Suns guard Joe Johnson underwent surgery Thursday to repair a displaced fracture in the bone around his left eye.

The starting guard, who has played in all 287 games since coming to the Suns in his rookie season, will miss at least the next two games of the team's Western Conference semifinal series against Dallas and probably Game 5 in Phoenix as well, Suns president Bryan Colangelo said.
