Fantasy draft -> player salaries

Postby Doc Elk on Tue May 10, 2005 4:24 pm

Hi there,

how can I find out about player contracts in the fantasy draft? I cannot find it. Or, if you cannot, is there a list available somewhere to download so I can draft the right players?

Also, does it make any difference if I start a player at another position than the one listed. I got the chance to draft duncan in the second round after taking kg in the first, so i would like duncan to play center.....

Thank you!

P.s. I am playing on a PS2, by the way.

Unfortunately there's no listing of player salaries when you're conducting a fantasy draft.

Duncan's secondary position in the game is centre and with his ratings and height, you shouldn't have any trouble - after all, he does play centre at times in real life. For cosmetic purposes, you may wish to change his primary position to centre and secondary position to power forward in Edit Player.

Actually, I was able to choose between TD and Paul Pierce in the second round, among others.....but that lineup kind of intrigued me a little.

Anyway, I am now looking for a) a decent shooting guard and b) a decent back-up at power forward and/or center.
I will sign Korver as an undrafted free-agent, since he seems to be so good as a three point shooter.

I am willing to give up: Eschmeyer (drafted him as a defensive back-up), D. West, PF (same reason), Dupree, SF (does not impress me, really), Boydkins, PG (looking for a passing PG) and maybe Milicic, PF, who I took in the last round out of pity, I guess. Oh yeah, and my starting SG, some guy named M. Miller, 68 overall.

I will not give up J. Williams (PG), W. McCarthy (SF), B. Gordon (SG) as well as my two big man.

I know that does not leave me much cap room. But if I can do two two for one trades then I would fill my roster with FA, there are a few good role players left, I think.

Any suggestions? Thanks again!
